Florida Woman Accused of Child Sexual Abuse Material and Bestiality After Cyber Tip Leads to Arrest
Investigators Say Digital Evidence Expanded Case Beyond Initial Child Exploitation Investigation
MILTON, Fla. — What began as an investigation into suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) quickly expanded into a disturbing multi-charge criminal case after investigators allegedly uncovered evidence involving both child exploitation material and sexual acts involving an animal, according to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities arrested 24 year old Vallen Hrabb of Milton on March 23 following an investigation that began with a cyber tip concerning the suspected possession of child sexual abuse material. During the execution of a search warrant and subsequent forensic examination of electronic devices, detectives said they discovered multiple files containing alleged child sexual abuse material, leading to numerous felony charges under Florida law. According to investigators, the digital evidence also revealed explicit images and videos involving animals.
Investigators Allege Direct Involvement
According to the arrest report, detectives determined the investigation extended beyond the alleged possession of illegal material. Investigators allege they found digital evidence showing Hrabb personally engaging in sexual acts with her own dog inside her Milton residence. Those allegations form the basis for additional criminal charges involving prohibited sexual conduct with an animal under Florida law. The allegations remain accusations, and Hrabb is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
Florida Law Carries Severe Penalties
Florida aggressively prosecutes offenses involving child sexual abuse material. Under Florida Statute 827.071, each individual image or video depicting child sexual abuse material may be charged as a separate third degree felony, potentially exposing defendants to significant prison time if convicted. Hrabb also faces charges under Florida Statute 828.126, which prohibits sexual activity involving animals. The law criminalizes engaging in sexual conduct with an animal or creating visual recordings of such acts for sexual gratification.
Digital Evidence Increasingly Drives Child Exploitation Cases
Law enforcement agencies across Florida continue to rely heavily on cyber tips submitted through national reporting systems and technology companies to identify individuals suspected of possessing or distributing child sexual abuse material. Those investigations frequently involve detailed forensic examinations of computers, smartphones, cloud storage accounts, and other digital devices, allowing detectives to uncover evidence that may extend well beyond the original complaint.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office has not publicly released additional details regarding the number of files allegedly recovered or whether investigators believe anyone else may have been involved.
Case Continues Through the Court System
Hrabb remains charged with multiple criminal offenses related to the alleged possession of child sexual abuse material and prohibited sexual conduct involving an animal. The case will proceed through the Florida court system, where prosecutors must prove each allegation beyond a reasonable doubt. No trial date has been announced.
