H-E-B Opens New Location in North Texas
“Our goal is to bring Texans the best shopping experience possible,” H-E-B officials said ahead of today’s grand opening of the brand’s newest location in Rockwall, Texas. The highly anticipated store officially opens its doors today, marking another major step in the grocery giant’s rapid expansion across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
A Major Move Into Dallas County
H-E-B, long celebrated as a Texas grocery institution, has been steadily increasing its presence in North Texas over the past few years. The new Rockwall store continues that push, following recent openings in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, and Allen. Until recently, Dallas-area shoppers had to drive to Central or South Texas to find an H-E-B, but the company’s ongoing expansion is changing that landscape fast. Located along South Goliad Street, the Rockwall store features more than 100,000 square feet of retail space, offering everything from H-E-B’s signature bakery and prepared meals to a curbside pickup area and expanded organic and Texas-made product lines.
