“Just to clear the air, Mod and I have gone our separate ways,” Wisniewski told People. “It was a fun time and I’m grateful for the experiences, but I’m in a new place now and ready for what’s next.”
Wisniewski, who rose to fame on Season 7 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, became a fan favorite for her straightforward personality and emotional maturity. She originally left the show engaged to Leo Braudy, but the couple broke off their engagement shortly after filming ended. Her relationship with Mod Sun — real name Derek Ryan Smith — marked her first public romance since the series.
According to Wisniewski, the split with Mod Sun stemmed primarily from logistical challenges. “We grew apart largely due to distance,” she said.
