Search Ongoing for Teen Missing Since Christmas Eve

Missing Teen in Texas

Search efforts remain active for 19 year old Camila Mendoza Olmos, who was reported missing after leaving her home in northwest Bexar County, Texas, early on Christmas Eve. Authorities say she was last seen shortly before 7 a.m. on December 24 in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring. Security footage from the area shows a person believed to be Mendoza Olmos near her vehicle outside the home. Investigators say she appeared to be looking for something before walking away on foot. Her car was left behind at the residence, raising immediate concern for her safety.

Personal Belongings Left Behind Raise Concern

According to law enforcement, Mendoza Olmos left the house with only her car keys and possibly her driver’s license. Her cellphone and other personal items were left inside the home. Family members became alarmed when she did not return, noting that while she often took morning walks, she had never been gone for this long without contact. Authorities described her last known clothing as a baby blue and black hoodie, baby blue pajama pants, and white shoes.

Multi Agency Search Expands

The investigation is being led by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from state and federal agencies. Officials have confirmed that border and travel databases are being monitored as part of the search effort. Investigators say they are not ruling out any possibilities and continue to treat the case as one involving potential danger. A statewide CLEAR Alert has been issued, a designation used when an adult is believed to be missing under circumstances that indicate an imminent threat to their safety.

Community Assistance and Ongoing Search Efforts

Search operations include deputies, trained volunteers, and community members working in coordination with law enforcement. Residents in the area are being asked to review any home surveillance footage recorded during the early morning hours of December 24 that could provide additional clues. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information about Camila Mendoza Olmos or her whereabouts to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office immediately. All tips, no matter how small, are considered critical as the search continues.
