Despite that setback, optimism remains high in Sunrise, particularly with captain Aleksander Barkov expected to return at full strength after missing the entire season while recovering from right knee surgery.
A healthy Barkov combined with Matthew and Brady Tkachuk gives Florida one of the NHL’s most talented cores. The Panthers now possess elite skill, physicality, leadership, and postseason experience throughout their lineup.
