DJ Nicky Romero

Nicky Romero is a Dutch DJ, record producer, and musician who is known for his work in the electronic dance music (EDM) genre. He was born on January 6, 1989, in Amerongen, Netherlands, and his real name is Nick Rotteveel. Romero started his music career at a young age, playing the drums in a band. He later became interested in electronic music and began producing his own tracks. In 2009, he released his first single, “My Friend,” which gained attention in the EDM community.

Romero’s breakthrough came in 2011 with his hit single “Toulouse,” which reached the top 10 charts in several countries. Since then, he has produced numerous other popular tracks, including “I Could Be the One” with Avicii, “Legacy” with Krewella, and “Like Home” with Nervo. In addition to his success as a producer, Romero is also known for his high-energy DJ performances. He has performed at major festivals around the world, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella.

In recent years, Romero has also been involved in philanthropic efforts. In 2013, he launched the charity foundation “Protocol Legacy,” which aims to support music education for children in need. Overall, Nicky Romero is a highly respected figure in the EDM community, known for his innovative production style and electrifying performances.

Ultra Music Festival in Miami

The Ultra Music Festival is an annual electronic dance music (EDM) festival that takes place in Miami, Florida. It was first held in 1999 on the beach in Miami and has since grown into a three-day event that attracts hundreds of thousands of music fans from all over the world. The Ultra Music Festival typically takes place over three days in late March or early April, and is one of the most highly-anticipated events on the global EDM calendar. However, in 2020 and 2021, the festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the organizers have yet to announce the details for the next edition.
