Now that the Epstein Files have been partially released (they lied and said all the files have been released…they haven’t), the topic of pedophilia has been rampant. With that, the investigation into Prince Andrew from Britain has also been rampant.
Well, I am going to drop a name that checks off both of those boxes. (Pedophilia and Britain) That name, that sicko, that thank God he is dead, is Jimmy Savile. 99% of Americans have no idea who Jimmy Savile is. In Britain, he was a massive star. Not only that, but he was practically part of the Royal Family as he was very tight with now, KING Charles. At that time, Charles was the Prince. Let’s get to know this “monster”
Who Is Jimmy Savile?
Jimmy Savile was a British media personality and DJ, best known for hosting TV shows like Top of the Pops and Jim’ll Fix It. For decades, he was a beloved figure in British pop culture. However, after he died in 2011, numerous allegations of sexual abuse emerged, spanning decades, and he was posthumously revealed to be one of the UK’s most prolific sex offenders. His case sparked a huge investigation and led to reforms in how such allegations are handled.
Top of the Pops was a hugely influential British music chart TV show. It ran from 1964 to 2006, making it one of the longest-running TV shows in the UK. Each week, it would feature live performances by the biggest pop and rock acts of the time, making it a staple of British music culture.
Jim’ll Fix It was another iconic British TV show hosted by Jimmy Savile. It ran from 1975 to 1994. The show was all about making children’s dreams come true. Much like a televsed “Make a Wish Foundation”.
Kids would write in with their wishes, and Savile would “fix it” by setting up amazing experiences like meeting their idols or visiting special places. Of course, after the abuse allegations surfaced, the show became part of the wider reckoning about Savile’s crimes.
Jimmy’s Ties to the Royal Family
Jimmy Savile was very close to the Royal Family. He had regular contact, including Prince Charles (now King Charles III). He was invited to Buckingham Palace multiple times, and he was granted honors like a knighthood in 1990. The average American has no idea what a big achievement that is across the pond.
After the revelations, those ties drew a lot of scrutiny, and there was a huge public fallout. People were shocked by just how many high-profile connections he had.
Prince Charles was quiet about Savile, as he was clearly embarrassed about his connection to such a terrible person. But there are documented letters from the late 1980s and early 1990s that they exchanged. In those letters, Charles asked Savile for advice on public outreach and appealed to his insight in reaching different parts of the country.
Savile’s Popularity
Jimmy was absolutely massive in England, especially from the ’60s through the ’80s. He was a household name hosting prime-time TV, DJing at radio stations, and even doing charity work. He raised millions of pounds for hospitals. So, he was really seen as a beloved national figure until all the abuse allegations came out, of course.
And Then Came the Allegations
After Savile’s death in 2011, hundreds of allegations surfaced. Investigations revealed that he had been a prolific sex offender, abusing minors and vulnerable people for decades. The scale of the allegations was staggering, both in terms of the number of victims and the fact that it spanned multiple institutions like hospitals and schools. The scandal led to major public inquiries, like Operation Yewtree, and exposed widespread institutional failures to stop Savile.
Tragically, many of the victims were vulnerable individuals, including children with disabilities, and some were in care homes or hospitals. The abuse took place in a range of institutions, often where the victims had very little protection or ability to speak out. That was one of the most disturbing aspects of the whole scandal.
I have to tell you that I watched the Netflix documentary about this animal. My jaw was on the floor. It is a must-watch. I have attached the trailer to the documentary in this article, but go watch the doc. The really sad thing that you come away with after watching this is that pedophilia is out of control. Britain seems to have a huge problem with pedophilia at high levels, and that Charles, as well as many others, knew EXACTLY what this mofo was doing…and they just looked the other way. And it wasn’t just with children. It included disabled children. Children with mental illness, and hold your breath…..dead children!!!!!!
