The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

According to the website, The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The world-renowned entertainment, gaming, and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on October 24th, 2019.  Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic put a real damper on hotel business. But now that things are opening up, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is excited to unveil new offerings.

This includes: 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel, which are outfitted with signature furnishings and our Sleep Like a Rock® bedding, designed for guests to relax and recharge like rock royalty, for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort.

Additional amenities include the lush, “Bora Bora” style lagoon with private cabanas and butler service, a 42,000 square-foot Rock Spa® & Salon, a 13.5-acre recreational water experience for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding.

 

As for food, drinks and games, there are 19 dining outlets and 20 bars and lounges, an expansive gaming floor with 3,100 slots, 195 table games and a 45-table poker room. There is 120,000 square feet of premier meeting and convention space including a 38,000 square-foot, carpeted exhibition hall.

And then you have the high-class shopping experience with The Shoppes at The Guitar Hotel. A 26,000 square-foot retail promenade. Inside the promenade, you have the highly-anticipated Hard Rock Live Entertainment venue with a 7,000-person capacity that will showcase A-list entertainers, comedy acts, Broadway performances, sporting events, and live broadcast productions.

 

 

The Guitar Hotel Light Show

One of the coolest things about the GUITAR HOTEL is the Light Show! According to the Seminole Hard Rock website, “The Light Show is a daily spectacular featuring a series of orchestrated outdoor music and lights showcasing LED lights built into all sides of the BRAND-NEW, immaculate, and renovated GUITAR HOTEL.

The lights are programmed to change color and intensity and are choreographed to different songs. Six high-powered beams of light accentuate the production by projecting at least 20,000 feet into the sky. The six lights mimic the strings of an imaginary guitar neck. The showtimes are at 9PM and 9:30PM

 

 

DAER Day / Night Club Returns

DAER South Florida is located inside the Guitar Hotel at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. The club is a 44,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor megaplex. DAER is part of Hard Rock’s $1.5 billion hotel expansion.

DAER will feature the most well-known and recognized international DJs in the world. There are tons of live performers and celebrities along with extraordinary VIP services. DAER features cutting-edge audio/visual technology and elevated bottle service.

DAER invites you to have your birthday parties, celebrations, and bachelor/bachelorette parties at its amazing venue. You get a private area, a priority entry, and exclusive bottle service packages are available.

The DAER Dayclub is 20k+ square-feet of an amazing dayclub that boasts a huge resort-style pool and two smaller dipping pools. Spread about the pool area are thirteen private cabanas, daybeds, a DJ Booth with a 40-ft LED screen, a bar, and even VIP bungalow sections. The dayclub at DAER is open Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 7PM.

DAER Nightclub features a super-high-performance LED centerpiece that was developed by world-renowned lighting designer Steve Lieberman. The nightclub has a state-of-the art BOOMING Funktion One sound system. Funktion One is the absolute leader when it comes to festival sound with its sonic edge technology. The nightclub at DAER is open Friday and Saturday night from 10PM to closing.

 

The Grand Opening of ROOFTOP LIVE

The 10k square-foot ROOFTOP LIVE is located on the top floor of DAER Nightclub and it features a breathtaking view of the BORA BORA LAGOON as well as the shimmering, glittery, colorful 450-foot Guitar Hotel.

ROOFTOP LIVE is a cocktail-driven venue. It features tiki-themed drinks and cocktails using Tequila Mami crafted tequila. A taco food truck will be on-site serving savory Mexican-inspired dishes and small bites.

ROOFTOP LIVE will feature live performances every Friday and Saturday night from local South Florida talent as well as oversized party games. The concept offers guests an awesome place to celebrate birthdays, private events, sports viewing parties, and more!

The rooftop is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6PM to midnight.

 

The resort is located on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation along State Road 7 (U.S. Highway 441), and is 10 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Miami and the Miami International Airport.
