This weekend in Miami, Florida you may be able to attend the 2019 U.S. Cannabis Conference and Expo. This is a massive yearly event that will have monumental effects on the state of Cannabis in the United States. This event will be held on a $40 million 222 foot long yacht. It will be one of the most extravagant days of the year allowing business partners and professionals from around the world to collaborate together. To say that the location for the event is luxurious is actually an understatement. The Seafair is truly a marvelous vessel. To be able to board such a ship would forever remain in your memory. There is not such a wondrous vessel in the United States that could compare to the comfort you would receive other than the Seafair. According to their website:

Ballrooms, coffee bars, enormous banquet halls and the gorgeous sky deck that will connect you to the heavens through an ethereal world of beauty.

If knowledge is what you pursue, well you’re in luck because there will be plenty of just that. Saturday and Sunday agenda will hold multiple enthralling experiences for the true scholar. If you want even more then show up on Friday for all day learning insights.

 

Friday

 

You have chances to sit in on the All Day Medical Cannabis Symposium. Beginning at noon, multiple doctors and medical professionals will be presenting their ideas and theories and trying to provide others will facts. These experts are trying to show the world evidence and increase the positive popularity and support of cannabis. Examples of some of these presentations to support the works of cannabis are:

  • The Endocannabinoid System
    • Dr. Richard Boxer and Anya Temer D.O. will be showing this presentation.
    • Boxer has a wide range of medical experience.

  • Medical Cannabis Data from Real-World Evidence
    • Scott Berman will be holding this session.
      • “The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced: “a new strategic framework to advance the use of real-world evidence to support the development of drugs and biologics.””

  • Cannabis and Sports Medicine

If the medicine side doesn’t intrigue you, then there is the Advanced Cultivation Training Session held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Here you will be able to soak up all the knowledge you’d like when relating to cannabis agriculture. Topics such as Aquaponics, Aeroponics, Hydroponics, Soil, Micropropagation/Tissue Culture and Lighting will be covered by your presenters, Andrew Meyers and Christopher Wrenn.

Saturday and Sunday

 

These two days will hold countless lectures on cannabis marketing, medical opinions, research, investing, advertising and much more. You’re in for quite the spectacle. Anything that you’d possibly be curious about in the cannabis industry. They’ll be speaking of cannabis in general, CBD (cannabidiol), THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and all other cannabinoids. For example, if you don’t know the difference, THC is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana that induces a “high.” CBD on the other hand is a cannabis-derived compound that has a high potential for medical application.
