Florida Man Faces DUI After State Troopers Find 34 Open White Claws in Car
Only in Florida. Ohhhh yes! Only in Florida.
A Florida man is facing DUI charges after state troopers pulled him over for speeding and discovered what can only be described as a mobile White Claw recycling center sitting inside his car.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Conor William Parady of San Antonio, Florida, was driving northbound on Interstate 75 in Pasco County when a trooper spotted his Honda Civic traveling at more than 90 miles per hour. After initiating a traffic stop, the trooper allegedly found something even more shocking than the speed: 34 open cans of White Claw hard seltzer inside the vehicle.

Authorities said Parady appeared to be heavily intoxicated during the stop. He was arrested and transported to the Pasco County Jail, where officials reported his blood alcohol concentration was approximately 0.177—more than twice Florida’s legal limit of 0.08 for drivers.
Photos released by the Florida Highway Patrol showed dozens of empty and partially consumed White Claw cans piled on the passenger side of the vehicle, creating an image that quickly went viral across social media. It is hard to imagine driving with that many open containers scattered throughout a small Honda Civic, let alone traveling at highway speeds while allegedly intoxicated.
Florida Law Says This is a “No-No”
Under Florida law, possessing open containers of alcohol inside a moving vehicle is illegal, and a DUI conviction can carry serious consequences, including fines, probation, community service, license suspension, and even jail time depending on the circumstances and prior offenses.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported in this incident. However, the case serves as another reminder of just how dangerous impaired driving can be. It only takes one bad decision behind the wheel to change lives forever.
The story also joins the ever-growing list of bizarre “Florida Man” headlines that seem almost too strange to be true. But unlike some of the Sunshine State’s more humorous viral moments, this one could have ended in tragedy. Driving over 90 miles per hour while allegedly intoxicated and surrounded by dozens of open alcohol containers isn’t just reckless—it’s a recipe for disaster.
For now, Conor William Parady remains charged with DUI, and the legal process will determine what penalties, if any, he ultimately faces.
We at SFL.media called Guinness to see if 34 was a record for a pullover. They have yet to get back to us.
