The Milwaukee Bucks secured their fourth consecutive victory on Sunday, rallying in the fourth quarter to defeat the Miami Heat 120-113. Led by Damian Lillard’s 28 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s dominant double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, the Bucks overcame a 14-point deficit to claim the win.
Lillard, returning from a hamstring strain that sidelined him in Friday’s win over Washington, also contributed eight assists. Brook Lopez added 17 points, while Kyle Kuzma and Gary Trent Jr. each chipped in 16. Kevin Porter Jr. provided a spark off the bench with 11 points.
Despite a valiant effort from Miami’s Tyler Herro, who matched his season-high with 40 points and dished out 11 assists, the Heat faltered late. Bam Adebayo scored 24 points, Andrew Wiggins had 20, and Kel’el Ware registered a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Trailing for most of the game, the Bucks turned up the intensity in the final period, outscoring Miami 35-20. After a Herro three-pointer tied the game at 109, Milwaukee closed on an 11-4 run to seal the win.
A crucial moment came when Porter Jr. scored seven consecutive points early in the fourth before connecting on an alley-oop to Jericho Sims, putting the Bucks ahead 97-95 with 9:20 left—their first lead since the opening quarter.
Herro, a Milwaukee native and reigning NBA Three-Point Contest champion, struggled from deep, going 3-for-12 after a 1-for-5 start in the first half. Miami’s bench was outscored 34-12, highlighting a lack of depth in the rotation.
Lillard and Antetokounmpo, playing through minor injuries, logged significant minutes (38 and 32, respectively). Milwaukee’s ability to dominate in the fourth quarter showcased their resilience, particularly on the defensive end.
The Heat will travel to Atlanta for a matchup against the Hawks on Monday, while the Bucks continue their road trip with a game against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
