Robin Schulz, Steve Aoki Unite for “Bloodtype” With LAWRENT

Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki Join Forces for First Time on “Bloodtype” With LAWRENT

Two global dance music heavyweights have finally collided. Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki, both GRAMMY-nominated and long-time friends, have released their very first studio collaboration, “Bloodtype,” out now on Warner Music. Joining them is rising London-based producer LAWRENT, whose chart-topping productions have been lighting up dance floors worldwide.

A Long-Awaited Collaboration

For over a decade, Schulz and Aoki have crossed paths on some of the world’s biggest stages, from massive festival lineups to backstage hangs (including a legendary table tennis match at Parookaville). But despite their friendship, a studio collaboration never materialized — until now. “Bloodtype” captures the creative chemistry that’s been building for years.

The track is a high-voltage club anthem, fusing Schulz’s signature melodic flair, Aoki’s explosive energy, and LAWRENT’s masterful sound design. The result is a dark, driving, and adrenaline-fueled cut built for late nights and packed dance floors.

A Club Moment in Song Form

Lyrically, “Bloodtype” is all about that electrifying instant when two people connect in the chaos of the club — lights flashing, beats pounding, eyes locking across the crowd. The icy, slightly distorted vocals deliver the hook with confidence:

“Imma give you my bloodtype / Baby, you’re just my bloodtype.”

It’s a track that escalates with precision, balancing moments of tension and release, and has already become a fixture in Schulz’s festival sets at Tomorrowland, Parookaville, Electric Love, and his current Pacha Ibiza residency.
