Running from January 21 to 28, in conjunction with Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week, this week-long celebration promises a tapestry of creativity with live mural paintings, panel discussions, art installations, and family-friendly activities. Live Mural Paintings and Uncommon Path Brewing Beer Release:

The festival kicks off on Sunday, January 21, with a VIP Night at Uncommon Path Brewing, featuring the release of the official AOTA beer, “AOTA All Of The Above” Hibiscus Mexican Lager. Attendees can enjoy complimentary beer tastings, food, and get a sneak peek at the mural map magazine featuring artist interviews and new mural locations.

Educational Panels: Bridging Art, Education, and Business:

From Monday, January 22, to Friday, January 27, AOTA joins forces with Broward College for a series of art, education, and business panel discussions. Seminars range from an International Artist Panel to a South Florida Artist Panel, offering insights into creative commerce, global brands, real estate development, and fostering local economic success through art.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the City of Fort Lauderdale:

On Saturday, January 27, at 11 am, join the City of Fort Lauderdale for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1018 NW Sixth St, celebrating the creation of a vibrant mural by the talented street artist, Egypt. The mural, depicting courage, magic, and the pursuit of dreams, aims to inspire the community.

Kid’s Art Day & Chalk Zone:

The festivities continue on Saturday, January 27, and Sunday, January 28, with Kid’s Art Day & Chalk Zone at New River Learning Center from 11 am to 5 pm. This family-friendly event features art and educational activities for children, food trucks, music, and a vibrant chalk zone, showcasing the boundless creativity possible through chalk art.

Closing Party at Uncommon Path Brewery:

The AOTA Visual Arts Festival concludes on Sunday, January 28, with a closing party at Uncommon Path Brewery from 6 pm to 9 pm. It’s a perfect opportunity to raise a toast to the success of the festival and celebrate the vibrant artistic community that came together to make it a reality.
