Body Cam Video Arrest
Newly released body camera footage is shedding light on a bizarre burglary case involving a Texas man accused of breaking into a Fort Lauderdale mansion associated with popular OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain and refusing to leave.
The footage, released more than a year after the incident, shows Fort Lauderdale police officers confronting and arresting 22 year old Connor James Litka after a lengthy standoff at the waterfront property. Authorities say the incident unfolded in February 2025 after residents returned home from Super Bowl weekend and discovered a stranger inside the residence.
Intruder Allegedly Claimed Home Was His
According to investigators, Rain and several influencer roommates returned to the rented mansion and found a shattered glass door and an unfamiliar shirtless man inside the property. Rain later said the man claimed the home belonged to him and insisted he had purchased it.
Police reports state that Litka allegedly refused repeated commands to leave the residence, prompting officers to call in SWAT personnel and crisis negotiators. The newly released body camera footage captures officers attempting to identify the suspect and convince him to surrender peacefully. When Litka finally emerged from the home, officers placed him in handcuffs without further incident.
False Identity Added to Charges
Investigators say Litka gave officers a false name after his arrest, identifying himself as “Conner Rain.” Body camera footage shows officers warning him that providing false information could result in additional criminal charges. Authorities said he continued using the fake identity despite those warnings.
Police ultimately charged Litka with burglary, resisting an officer without violence, and providing false identification to law enforcement. Surveillance footage reviewed by investigators allegedly showed him climbing over a fence and smashing a glass door with an object believed to be a rock before entering the home.
Property Linked to Influencer Collective
At the time of the incident, the Fort Lauderdale mansion was reportedly being used by members of the social media content collective known as the Bop House, a group of online creators that included Sophie Rain and several other influencers. The property had attracted significant online attention because of the creators’ large combined social media following. Rain publicly addressed the incident shortly after it occurred, telling followers that while the situation was frightening, everyone inside the home was safe.
Case Ends With Probation
Court records show Litka later resolved the criminal case and was sentenced to probation along with 89 days in jail. A judge also ruled that some charges could be terminated upon successful completion of his probation requirements. Authorities confirmed that his probation period ended in 2026.
The release of the body camera footage provides a closer look at one of South Florida’s most unusual burglary investigations, a case that combined internet celebrity, a luxury waterfront mansion, and an alleged intruder who insisted the multimillion dollar property belonged to him.
