Attention all race fans!

The Formula One Crypto.Com Miami Grand Prix 2022 race is coming to Miami Gardens, Florida.  May 8th is the day that you will not want to forget about.  The Formula One race will be held at the Miami International Autodrome.  Although it is a temporary circuit, its design is nothing less than a permanent feel.  The new track is designed to encourage a close race with high safety standards in place to ensure that the racers will be safe while on the track.  The track is located in the Hard Rock Stadium Complex, which is located at 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056.  This complex has been home to six super bowls, two baseball world series as well as multiple rock concerts so it has a history of greatness!

The new track has a layout that will be fantastic for this race.  The track itself was just built this year.  It is 5.41 km (3.4 miles) long. There will be 57 laps, 19 corners, three straights, and possibly three DRS (Drag Reduction System) zones.  Top speeds could reach up to 320 km/hr. (199 miles/hr.)  The race will have a total distance of 308.37 km (191.61 miles).

Elevation changes can be found between turns 13 and 16.  The track goes over an exit ramp and under flyovers across some uneven ground.  There is an uphill slope between turn 14 and 15 with a crest in the middle of it and then it drops down when exiting.  Turn 14 and 15 also has a chicane which is a curve in the track designed to give extra turns and slow the cars down for a little bit.

Seating at the complex has a spot for everyone to enjoy the race.  You can walk the top deck of the stadium to see every turn and curve of the track.  It will be a sight that no one should miss.  The best passing spots of the track can be seen hear turns one, eleven, and seventeen.  In these areas, you will not miss any of the action in the race.

There will be three practice races as well as one qualifying race before the scheduled Formula One race on Sunday, May 8th.  The first practice race is scheduled for Friday, May 6th from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The second practice race is scheduled for Friday, May 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  The third practice race is scheduled for Saturday, May 7th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The qualifying race is Saturday, May 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The Formula One race is scheduled for Sunday, May 8th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
