NFL Renews DraftKings and FanDuel Deals, Adds Fanatics as Official Sportsbook Partner

The NFL is expanding its relationship with the legal sports betting industry, announcing new multiyear sportsbook partnerships with DraftKings and FanDuel while adding Fanatics as an official betting operator.

The league announced the agreements Thursday, giving all three sportsbooks access to official NFL data, advertising opportunities during games and intellectual property rights involving NFL and team marks and logos.

Financial terms of the partnerships were not disclosed. Under the new agreements, DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics will work directly with the NFL on the types of wagers offered, intelligence sharing, advocacy efforts and responsible gambling initiatives. The league said maintaining the integrity of its games remains the foundation of its approach to legalized sports betting.

“Game integrity remains the foundation of our approach to legalized sports betting,” NFL executive vice president and chief revenue officer Renie Anderson said, emphasizing the importance of official league data.

That data is distributed by NFL partner Genius Sports and is particularly important for live betting, which allows bettors to wager on rapidly changing odds and individual moments during games.

While the NFL continues to embrace legalized sports betting, the league maintains strict limits on the types of wagers it supports. The NFL objects to bets involving officiating, player injuries and other outcomes that could potentially be known in advance or manipulated by a single individual.

The league’s partnerships are designed in part to give the NFL greater involvement in how betting markets surrounding its games are created and monitored. The NFL also continues to limit sportsbook advertising during its broadcasts. The league permits approximately one sportsbook advertisement per quarter during games.

According to iSpot.TV, which measures advertising and marketing impact, national television broadcasts during the 2025 regular season averaged two sportsbook advertisements per game, with primetime contests generally featuring more.

Despite the significant presence of sports betting advertising, iSpot.TV reported that there were slightly fewer minutes of betting-related commercials during games last season than advertisements for beer and hard seltzer.

Fanatics represents the biggest addition to the NFL’s official sportsbook lineup. As part of the agreement, Fanatics will become the NFL’s official online casino marketing partner. The company joins DraftKings and FanDuel in receiving access to NFL intellectual property and official league data under the new partnership structure.

DraftKings also retains its status as the NFL’s official daily fantasy sports partner, a relationship that dates back to 2019. DraftKings is also the official sportsbook and odds provider for ESPN.

The new agreements restore official sportsbook partnerships for the NFL after its previous deals with DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars Sportsbook expired in March.

Despite its continued expansion within legalized sports betting, the NFL is taking a different approach to the rapidly emerging prediction market industry.

DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics all offer prediction-market products in states where traditional sports betting is not legal. However, the NFL’s new partnership agreements do not extend its official data or intellectual property rights to those prediction-market offerings.

That distinction allows the league to maintain control over how its official information and trademarks are used while continuing to monitor the rapidly changing regulatory landscape surrounding sports wagering.

For the NFL, the new agreements represent an effort to balance the commercial opportunities created by legalized betting with its emphasis on game integrity, responsible gambling and protecting the credibility of its competition.
