Plane Carrying Governor Nominee Crashes Into Lake

Wisconsin gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany survived a frightening plane crash after the aircraft he was traveling in made an emergency landing in Lake Wausau. Tiffany And Pilot Escape

Tiffany and the pilot were able to get out of the aircraft and swim toward safety after the landing. Emergency responders arrived by boat and took both men to a nearby hospital for treatment. Tiffany suffered a cut above his right eye that required stitches. The pilot also sustained injuries that required medical attention. Both men were treated and released from the hospital.
