Late in the fourth quarter the Lions offense would respond again with a 10 play, 89-yard drive, this time finishing with a 9-yard touchdown pass from Goff to Amon-Ra St.Brown giving the Lions a 31-17 lead with 6:22 to go in the game.  In a last-ditch effort to stage a comeback, the Buccaneers intensified their offensive efforts in the final six minutes. Quarterback Baker Mayfield led the charge, orchestrating a well-executed touchdown drive, it finished with a Mayfield to Mike Evans 16-yard touchdown pass, the Bucs attempt at a two point conversion failed. Lions 31 Buccaneers 23. With 1:35 to go in the game, with one final chance the Buccaneers would end up turning the ball over on a Mayfield interception ending the game. Final Score: Lions 31, Buccaneers 23.
