The 2025 Delray Beach Open: Tennis, Food & Wine, and a Star-Studded Lineup

The Delray Beach Open returns for its 33rd edition, taking place from February 7 to February 16, 2025, at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in downtown Delray Beach. As the first North American hard-court event of the ATP Tour’s outdoor season, the tournament attracts over 60,000 fans and is broadcast in more than 100 countries worldwide. This year’s event promises an exciting mix of elite tennis, top-tier dining experiences, and legendary players, setting the stage for what could be its most thrilling iteration yet.

One of the biggest new additions to the 2025 Delray Beach Open is the Food & Wine Series, featuring five VIP events every night. More than 40 of South Florida’s top restaurants, food purveyors, and spirit partners will serve up tasting bites and craft cocktails, giving fans a premier off-court experience.

Featured Culinary Events:

Grand Tasting: A high-end food and beverage showcase.

Valentine’s & Volleys, A Taste of Italy: A romantic evening with fine Italian cuisine.

Burgers, Bourbon & Brew: A crowd favorite pairing gourmet burgers with top-tier bourbons and beers.

Tacos, Tequila & Tennis: A celebration of Mexican flavors with tequila tastings.

Game, Set, Pour: A premium wine and cocktail event for fans to enjoy during the tournament.

Returning to the tournament is two-time defending champion and World No. 4 Taylor Fritz, who will aim for a historic three-peat. The American star, who has an eight-match winning streak at Delray Beach, will play his first match on Thursday, February 13, not before 8 p.m. at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center.

Top Contenders:

Tommy Paul (World No. 9): The Boca Raton native looks to dethrone Fritz.

Cameron Norrie (2022 Champion): The former World No. 8 returns for the first time since lifting the title.

Reilly Opelka (2020 Champion): The Delray Beach native is back and eager to make a deep run.

Kei Nishikori (2008 Champion): The veteran Japanese star will aim for another memorable performance.

Rising Stars to Watch

Learner Tien: The 19-year-old NextGen ATP star enters as a wild card, hoping to build on his breakthrough Australian Open performance, where he upset Daniil Medvedev en route to the fourth round.

Alex Michelsen: The 20-year-old American is riding high after reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open and achieving a career-high No. 36 ranking. Michelsen, still seeking his first ATP title, could make his breakthrough in Delray Beach.

In the doubles draw, Jackson Withrow and Horacio Zeballos will join forces for the first time, bringing their impressive credentials to Delray Beach. Withrow won four ATP titles in 2024, while Zeballos qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals with Marcel Granollers.

The Opening Weekend (February 7-9) will feature the return of Juan Martin del Potro for the first time in six years, playing in the Legends event. The 2009 U.S. Open champion will face off against Bob and Mike Bryan, the most successful doubles team in history with 16 Grand Slam titles and six Delray Beach Open trophies.

With top-ranked stars, rising American talents, legendary players, and an all-new food & wine experience, the 2025 Delray Beach Open promises to be an unforgettable event.
