A True Fall From Grace…Prince Andrew Arrested (and Released) in England on Epstein Charges

Well, it has finally happened. There is a God. Somehow, someway, an arrest was made in connection with the Epstein fallout. That is the good news. The bad news is that it was not here in the United States. It was across the pond in jolly old England.

Mark your calendars on this day forever. Today, on February 19th, Prince Andrew was arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct in public office, tied to his time as a British trade envoy and his links to Jeffrey Epstein. This is the first known arrest of a senior British royal for alleged criminal wrongdoing. It is also the first arrest tied to Jeffrey Epstein (outside of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell).

And just as easily as he was arrested, he was released under investigation this same evening (same day), and Thames Valley police said searches in Norfolk had concluded. Police searches at his former address, the Royal Lodge in Windsor, Berkshire, are continuing.

As a result of the arrest, many want to know what the Royal family thinks of the news, specifically King Charles.

King Charles released this public statement regarding Andrew’s arrest. He said:

I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.

As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all. Charles R.

The arrest took place, as six unmarked police cars arrived at Wood Farm, at Andrew’s residence on King Charles’ Sandringham estate in Norfolk, eastern England, shortly after 8 AM local time.

The Thames Valley Police released a statement shortly after the arrest, confirming that it “arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk.”

Dal Babu, former Metropolitan Police Chief Superintendent, told media outlets that concerns had been “growing and growing” over the last few weeks regarding Andrew. This comes as the DOJ had dumped millions of files related to Epstein this last week.

Babu said the arrest means police will be “able to access computer equipment, files, photographs, and any other evidence” and “can carry out searches of any premises he owns or occupies, or any other premises he controls, so there may well be searches in other areas as well”.

Besides King Charles, there were other important people tied to this who had an opinion on the arrest.

  • Virginia Giuffre’s family said in a statement that Andrew’s arrest showed “no one is above the law”. They said: “On behalf of our sister, we extend our gratitude to the UK’s Thames Valley police in their investigation and arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.”
  • Maria Farmer, the first known survivor to report Epstein and Maxwell to law enforcement, issued this statement: “Today is just the beginning of accountability and justice brought forth by Virginia Roberts Giuffre — a young mother who adored her daughter so deeply, she fought the most powerful on earth to protect her. She did this for everyone’s daughters. Let’s now demand all the dominos of power and corruption begin to fall.”
  • Donald Trump told reporters that Andrew’s arrest was “a shame” and “a very sad thing”. “I think it’s very sad. I think it’s so bad for the Royal family. It’s very, very sad,” he said. “To me, it’s a very sad thing. Trump went on to say that “it’s really interesting because nobody used to speak about Epstein when he was alive, but now they speak.” He added: “But I’m the one that can talk about it because [I have] been totally exonerated. I did nothing.”

This is exactly why people are turning on Trump. To even inject his innocence into the fray when his connections alone to Epstein make him a total POS is infuriating to many. Just comment. And for God’s sake, leave yourself out of it.

The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been formally filed yet. So what this tells us is not to get too excited just yet. While something positive has come out of this, there are no formal charges. We can hold our breath and see where it all goes. Seeing some more arrests would be a great start. And that should happen here in the US, not just overseas.
