Vintage Culture Live at Pacha Ibiza: Inside the Spectacular Affairs Residency

Vintage Culture’s ‘Affairs’ Residency Ends on a High Note as Brazilian Superstar Delivers One of Ibiza’s Standout Sets of 2026

IBIZA, Spain — Few DJs have experienced a rise quite like Vintage Culture. Over the past several years, the Brazilian superstar has evolved from one of South America’s biggest electronic music exports into one of the world’s most sought after headliners, commanding festival main stages, selling out club residencies, and helping shape the modern melodic house movement.

Now, after wrapping up his exclusive four-week “Affairs” residency at the legendary Pacha Ibiza, Vintage Culture has once again proven why he remains one of dance music’s most influential artists. His newly released live set from Pacha captures everything fans have come to expect, deep emotion, driving grooves, flawless transitions, and a packed dance floor that never seemed to stop moving.

A Residency Built Around Connection

Unlike many Ibiza residencies built around over-the-top production and elaborate stage effects, “Affairs” took a different approach. Running under the slogan, “In our Affairs, you are never alone,” the residency focused on creating an intimate connection between the DJ and the audience. Pacha transformed its famous cherry branded nightclub into a sea of deep crimson lighting, immersive visuals, and minimalist production that kept attention fixed where it belonged on the music and the energy flowing across the dance floor. The result was an atmosphere that felt more like an underground warehouse party than one of Ibiza’s most iconic clubs.

Four Weeks. Four Massive Lineups.

Rather than committing to an entire summer residency, Vintage Culture curated just four Tuesday nights throughout June, making each event feel like an exclusive experience. Every week featured heavyweight guests representing different corners of the global house music scene.

The residency opened with electronic legend Eric Prydz before welcoming WhoMadeWho for an acclaimed hybrid live performance. Week three paired Vintage Culture with Dutch groove master Franky Rizardo, while the finale celebrated Brazil’s booming electronic scene alongside Mochakk, Volkoder, and Doozie. The closing party on June 30 transformed Pacha into an all-Brazilian showcase, filling the club to capacity and ending the residency on one of its biggest nights.

A Masterclass in Modern House Music

The newly released Pacha set demonstrates why Vintage Culture has become one of electronic music’s premier selectors. Rather than relying on constant drops or festival-style theatrics, the performance unfolds patiently, layering hypnotic basslines, rolling percussion, atmospheric vocals, and melodic textures that gradually build tension before releasing into explosive moments.

The mix seamlessly blends melodic house, deep house, progressive influences, Afro-inspired rhythms, and Brazilian groove, creating a sound that feels both emotionally rich and relentlessly danceable. It is the type of set designed for an Ibiza sunrise rather than a TikTok highlight clip, a journey rather than a collection of singles.

Still One of Dance Music’s Biggest Names

Born Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol in Brazil, Vintage Culture has spent the last decade climbing the ranks of electronic music. His remixes of classic tracks such as Blue Monday and Another Brick in the Wall helped introduce his signature style to international audiences before a steady stream of original productions and collaborations elevated him into the world’s elite DJs.

Today, he regularly headlines Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and countless international festivals while continuing to release music through his own Affairs label and maintain his influential monthly radio show. (Wikipedia)

What’s Next?

Although the dedicated “Affairs” residency has concluded, Vintage Culture’s Ibiza season is far from over. He is expected to return to Pacha later this summer for appearances during several of the island’s biggest parties, including Marco Carola’s Music On, BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra, and Gordo’s Taraka, ensuring fans will still have multiple opportunities to catch one of dance music’s hottest performers before the season ends.

For house music fans, however, the newly released Pacha recording may be the best souvenir of the residency—a nearly two-hour snapshot of an artist operating at the height of his powers, blending technical precision with infectious energy inside one of the world’s most famous nightclubs. Whether you’ve followed Vintage Culture since his early Brazilian club days or are just discovering his sound, the “Affairs” set stands as one of the defining electronic music performances of Ibiza’s 2026 season.
