Shohei Ohtani earned the most fan votes in the National League, while Ernie Clement topped the American League voting, allowing both stars to bypass the second phase of fan balloting and automatically secure starting spots.
The Dodgers continue to dominate Major League Baseball, leading the National League with five All-Star selections. Joining them atop the leaderboard are the Braves and Phillies, each also sending five representatives. In the American League, the Yankees, Blue Jays, and Rays pace the junior circuit with four selections apiece.
As has become tradition, every one of MLB’s 30 clubs will have at least one representative in the game.
The managerial matchup features two respected leaders: Roberts vs. Schneider.
World Series-winning Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will guide the National League after leading Los Angeles to last season’s championship, while Blue Jays skipper John Schneider takes the reins for the American League following Toronto’s outstanding first half. Despite losing two marquee starters, the American League boasts one of its deepest rosters in years.

Even with those absences, the AL bench remains stacked. Former MVP Cody Bellinger joins Yankees teammate Ben Rice, Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman, Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler, Guardians top prospect Travis Bazzana, Athletics slugger Nick Kurtz, White Sox infielder Miguel Vargas, Tigers rising star Kevin McGonigle, Mariners outfielder Randy Arozarena, and Tigers standout Riley Greene.
On the mound, the American League features a diverse mix of veteran experience and emerging arms led by Dylan Cease, Joe Ryan, Michael Wacha, Drew Rasmussen, Cade Smith, Bryan Baker, Louie Varland, Cam Schlittler, Jacob Latz, Parker Messick, Ranger Suarez, and veteran closer Aroldis Chapman.

The outfield showcases Phillies fan favorite Brandon Marsh alongside Mets superstar Juan Soto and Dodgers breakout star Andy Pages, while Shohei Ohtani occupies his familiar designated hitter role.
The reserves include Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Matt Olson, William Contreras, Hunter Goodman, Luis Arraez, Otto Lopez, Corbin Carroll, Pete Crow-Armstrong, Jordan Walker, James Wood, and Reds rookie Sal Stewart, giving the National League an excellent blend of established stars and exciting young talent.
The pitching staff could be one of the deepest assembled in recent memory.
Reigning phenom Paul Skenes headlines a rotation that also includes Chris Sale, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Logan Webb, Cristopher Sánchez, Max Meyer, Chase Burns, Eduardo Rodriguez, Mason Miller, Raisel Iglesias, and Jhoan Duran.
One notable absence will be Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski, who was selected but will not pitch.
