Panthers Stage Dramatic 3-Goal 3rd Period Comeback to Defeat Dallas 4-3

Their persistence paid off late in the second period when they finally broke through the Stars’ defense, on a Sam Reinhart goal his 46th of the season cutting the deficit to two goals and setting the stage for a thrilling final frame.

Third Period

Entering the third period with renewed determination, the Panthers unleashed an offensive onslaught that left the Stars reeling. Nine minutes left in the period, when Panthers where on the power play and Aleksander Barkov scored his 17th of the season making Stars 3 Panthers 2. The Panthers were far from done with the momentum firmly on their side, the Panthers continued to press forward, bombarding the Stars’ net with shots and applying relentless pressure. Their efforts were rewarded when they tied the score for the first time in the game, completing their remarkable comeback and sending shockwaves through the arena. Panthers forward Sam Bennett scored his 16th of the season with six mintues left in the game making it a 3-3 tie.
