Missing Florida Teen
The family of Allister Samer Nasr, a 17-year-old from St. Petersburg, is pleading for the public’s help in locating their missing son. Nasr was last seen leaving his home on Bayou Grande Boulevard NE at approximately 10 a.m. on March 1. As the days pass with no sign of him, his family has increased the reward for information leading to his safe return to $20,000.
Allister’s disappearance has left his loved ones desperate for answers. According to his family, he did not indicate any plans to leave or reasons for concern before he vanished. Authorities have classified him as missing and endangered, amplifying the urgency of the search.
“Allister is a bright, caring young man, and this is completely out of character for him,” said his mother, Sarah Nasr, during an emotional press conference. “We are heartbroken and just want him home safe. If anyone knows anything, please come forward.”
Community members have rallied around the family, sharing flyers and spreading awareness on social media. Local businesses and schools have joined the effort, distributing posters and alerting students and patrons to be on the lookout. Law enforcement agencies continue to follow leads and encourage anyone with information to step forward. The family has emphasized that no detail is too small and that any tip could be crucial in finding Allister.
“Allister was supposed to meet a friend that morning, but he never showed up. His phone has been off since he went missing, which is unusual for him,” said his older sister, Maya Nasr. “He would never just disappear like this without telling someone. We are terrified something has happened to him.”
Local authorities urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department or Crime Stoppers. The increased reward of $20,000 is being offered in hopes of incentivizing individuals who may have key information to come forward. The police have also requested that residents in the area review any security camera footage from the morning of March 1 in case it captured anything relevant to the case.
