Keegan Allen Robbed at Gunpoint
Actor Keegan Allen, best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on the television series Pretty Little Liars, says he was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint outside a grocery store in West Hollywood, California. The 37 year old actor shared a video showing blood running down his face following the October 8, 2026, incident. Allen posted the video on social media shortly after the alleged robbery outside Laurel Supply, located on Santa Monica Boulevard. In the footage, he appeared visibly shaken and injured as he described being attacked by two masked men who allegedly stole his watch. “I was just robbed of my watch,” Allen said in the video, explaining that the attackers struck him in the head and threatened him with weapons. He also asked someone nearby to call the police.
Surveillance Footage Appears To Show Attack
Allen also shared what appeared to be surveillance footage of the incident. The video shows two individuals dressed in dark clothing approaching him in a parking lot. According to the footage, the men confronted Allen before taking his watch and striking him in the head with a handgun. In the caption accompanying his post, Allen expressed fear and frustration over the attack, writing that West Hollywood was no longer safe. He said the men threatened to kill him over his watch and reflected on how much worse the encounter could have been.
Authorities Confirm Robbery Report
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that deputies responded to a robbery call at approximately 9:05 p.m. Thursday in the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. According to the department, two men dressed in black approached the victim. One suspect allegedly pointed a silver handgun at him while the other brandished a knife. The suspects demanded his watch and bracelet before one of them struck him in the face with the handgun. The suspects fled in an unknown vehicle with the stolen watch. Authorities reported that the victim suffered a laceration to his forehead and was evaluated by the Los Angeles County Fire Department at the scene. Officials said he was not transported to a hospital by emergency responders. Allen later indicated in a social media comment that he believed he had suffered a concussion and had sought hospital care.
Actor Calls For Accountability
Following the incident, Allen questioned whether surveillance technology in the area would help authorities identify the suspects. He also criticized local safety measures and called attention to the violence he said he experienced. The actor has also appeared in television series including Walker and The Rookie. He became widely known through Pretty Little Liars, which aired from 2010 to 2017. The robbery investigation remains ongoing.
