Atrial fibrillation, commonly called AFib, is an irregular heart rhythm that occurs when the upper chambers of the heart beat in an abnormal pattern. Some people experience symptoms such as a racing or irregular heartbeat, fatigue, dizziness or shortness of breath, while others may have no noticeable symptoms. One common treatment for AFib is cardiac ablation, a minimally invasive procedure that targets areas of the heart responsible for abnormal electrical signals. Recent Touring Health Concerns
