Winning a gold medal is special. Winning it as a team might even be more special. Beating Canada at THEIR sport (ice hockey) is even more special. And that is exactly what the American team has done at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games.

So when you win the gold and you make America proud, you get to celebrate and revel in all of your glory. The guys did all the rounds. And once in Miami, they began their public celebrations:
- They rode a double-decker bus through parts of South Florida, taking photos and engaging with fans.
- They had dinner together at COTE Korean Steakhouse.
- They partied at E11EVEN Miami, singing and celebrating with fans, and enjoying their gold medals.
- They were invited to Washington, D.C., to be introduced and applauded during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address.
- Jack Hughes and Quinn Hughes appeared on “Good Morning America” to talk about the victory and their invitation to the State of the Union address.
- Zach Werenski and Dylan Larkin appeared on “Fox & Friends” after the gold medal win. They discussed the historic victory, their pride in representing the U.S., and plans related to the team’s return home.
And then you have Florida Panthers left winger, Matthew Tkachuk. He is still getting his party on. Check him out on the beach at Elbo Room. He was throwing ’em back, and hobnobbing with fans while wearing his new Gold Medal. Job well done, gentleman. Now it’s back to their NHL club team with a whole new focus. For some, there are play-off aspirations. For some, not so lucky. Either way, they got something to be proud of for the rest of their lives. And we got a good one in our own backyard in Matthew Tkachuk.
