Secret Service Meat Beater Arrested for Beating His Meat in Front of Miami Hotel Guests

Secret Service Officer Arrested Naked in Miami Hotel Hallway After PGA Event Security Assignment

A U.S. Secret Service officer assigned earlier that day to security operations connected to a major golf event attended by Donald Trump was arrested in Miami after deputies allegedly found him naked and masturbating in a hotel hallway, according to authorities. The incident unfolded late Sunday night at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center, where Miami-Dade deputies responded to reports of a man exposing himself on the sixth floor of the hotel.

Authorities identified the suspect as John Andrew Spillman, 33, an off duty member of the Secret Service Uniformed Division. According to investigators, a female hotel guest told deputies that Spillman followed her from the lobby to the elevator and onto the sixth floor. After noticing his behavior, she and other guests reportedly locked themselves inside their room “in fear of their lives” while contacting authorities.

When deputies arrived, they allegedly found Spillman naked and masturbating at the end of the hallway. Hotel security personnel reportedly confirmed witnessing the behavior through both direct observation and security footage. The arrest quickly drew national attention because Spillman had reportedly worked earlier that same day on the security screening detail for the 2026 PGA Cadillac Championship, an event attended by Trump in South Florida.

The Secret Service moved quickly to distance itself from the incident.

“This behavior is unacceptable and stands in stark contrast to the professionalism and discipline expected of our personnel.” — Richard Macauley, Chief of the Secret Service Uniformed Division

Spillman was charged with indecent exposure and transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he was initially held on $1,000 bond. By Tuesday, authorities confirmed he had posted bail and was expected to be released pending further proceedings. The Secret Service also announced Spillman had been placed on administrative leave while both a criminal investigation and internal review continue.

The incident marks another embarrassing public relations crisis for a federal agency that has faced years of scrutiny over misconduct allegations, leadership turnover, and operational failures. While isolated incidents do not define an entire agency, cases involving officers assigned to high profile presidential security details inevitably raise questions about screening, discipline, and accountability inside one of the nation’s most sensitive law enforcement organizations. For Miami, the arrest adds yet another bizarre headline to an already chaotic spring filled with political events, celebrity appearances, and major security operations across South Florida.
