Prigozhin Plane Crash What Happened?

The aircraft, identified as a private Embraer jet, was carrying a total of seven passengers and three crew members, according to statements from Russia’s emergency services ministry.

The flight originated from Moscow and was en route to St. Petersburg before tragically crashing near the village of Kuzhenkino, located in Russia’s western Tver region. Aviation authorities and Russian officials have confirmed that the plane’s flight data indicates it had reached an altitude of approximately 28,000 feet before abruptly ceasing to transmit tracking information.

Reports from Thursday from state media source Russia 24 highlight that the wreckage of the Embraer plane disintegrated across an extensive 2-kilometer area, spanning away from the village of Kuzhenkino. Notably, the majority of the fuselage wreckage was discovered in closer proximity to agricultural facilities.

A separate update from the Russian state media outlet RIA Novosti further details that fragments of the aircraft were scattered, with one section even found on the entry road to Kuzhenkino.
