Stormy Daniels Enters “Orange Turd” into Hush-Money Trial Public Record

Day 13 of Donald Trump’s hush-money trial brought more than just legal arguments and courtroom drama—it introduced some colorful and unconventional language into the public record. Amidst Stormy Daniels’s testimony, new and unusual nicknames found their way into the proceedings, offering a glimpse into the contentious relationship between the former adult film actress and the ex-president.

During the trial on Tuesday, Trump’s attorney, Susan Necheles, presented a tweet from Daniels dated November 9, 2022, where she unequivocally stated, “I don’t owe him shit and I’ll never give that orange turd a dime.” With those words, “orange turd” officially became part of New York case law, immortalized in the legal annals of the state.

But the linguistic flair didn’t end there. Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger entered into the public record a Truth Social post containing Trump’s derogatory remarks towards Daniels, including insults such as “Horseface” and “SleazeBag,” which Daniels confirmed were directed at her.

Adding to the colorful exchange, Daniels revealed that Trump had a habit of addressing her as “honeybunch” during their interactions, a detail that sheds light on the familiarity and dynamics of their relationship.

This isn’t the first time the trial has witnessed the introduction of inventive nicknames. In prior sessions, Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, contributed to the linguistic tapestry by referring to the ex-president as “Von ShitzInPantz” and labeling him a “racist jackass” in Twitter (now X) posts submitted as evidence.

At the heart of the trial are 34 felony charges leveled against Trump, accusing him of falsifying business records to conceal payments made to Daniels in exchange for her silence about their alleged affair before the 2016 presidential election. Trump has steadfastly maintained his innocence in the face of these allegations.

Daniels’s testimony on Tuesday provided further insight into the nature of her relationship with Trump, revealing salacious details about their affair, including Trump’s purported comparison of Daniels to his daughter Ivanka and an occasion where Daniels concocted an excuse to avoid intimacy with the former president.

As the trial continues to unfold, it not only serves as a legal reckoning for Trump but also offers a public spectacle, showcasing the clash of personalities and the colorful language that has come to define this high-profile case.
