Miami kicked a 50-yard field goal with 9:26 to go in the fourth quarter. Virginia 20 Miami 20. Virginia kicks another 32-yard field goal giving them the lead back at 23-20 with 4:20 to go in the fourth quarter. With 4:20 remaining, Miami orchestrated a stunning drive down the field, tying the game with a clutch 48-yard field goal from kicker Andres Borregales. The score was deadlocked at 23-23, and the stage was set for an exhilarating overtime period.
