Would Khloe Kardashian Join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? She Says…

Khloé Kardashian Says No to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Khloé Kardashian is opening up about whether she could see herself joining “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and it sounds like fans should not expect her to trade the Kardashian family drama for the Housewives franchise anytime soon.

Khloé Says “Probably Not”

During the Sept. 30 episode of her “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast, Kardashian spoke with Paige DeSorbo about the possibility of appearing on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Her answer was pretty clear: “Probably not.” Kardashian explained that her experience in reality television has largely been centered around her own family. She has been filming with her sisters, mother and other family members since “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” premiered in 2007.

She Doesn’t Want To Compete For Screen Time

“I have worked really only with my family and I can’t imagine,” Kardashian said, explaining that she views reality shows like “The Real Housewives” as having a different dynamic. She said she believes cast members on shows like “The Real Housewives” can feel pressure to compete for screen time, something she said she has never experienced in the same way. “Shows like that you feel competitive to get screen time and I’ve never lived like that,” she said.

The Reality TV Drama Is Another Reason

Kardashian also pointed to another major reason she does not see herself joining the Beverly Hills cast: the drama. After nearly two decades of having cameras follow her family, Kardashian said she does not want to feel obligated to create or insert herself into conflict simply because it is part of a television show. “It’s cut-throat and you have to talk s–t about people,” she continued. “And sometimes I don’t want to.”

Khloé Has Been Doing Reality TV Since 2007

Kardashian has certainly experienced plenty of dramatic moments throughout her reality television career, but much of that drama has developed naturally within her family and personal life rather than from joining an ensemble cast of unrelated personalities. Since “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” debuted in 2007, Kardashian has become one of the most recognizable members of the Kardashian-Jenner family. She later continued documenting her life with her family on Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”

Don’t Expect Khloé To Be Holding A Beverly Hills Diamond

While Kardashian may have no immediate plans to join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” her comments do not suggest that she is stepping away from reality television altogether. Instead, she appears more comfortable with the format she has known for nearly 20 years: filming alongside her family and allowing the drama to unfold without having to manufacture conflict for the cameras. For now, fans looking for Kardashian on a Housewives-style show may have to keep waiting. Based on her latest comments, a Beverly Hills diamond does not appear to be in her plans.
