We’re more than a quarter of the way through the regular season and football is going to be what everyone is talking about once the World Series is through. This season has seen some crazy ups and downs and unfortunately the Miami Dolphins have been going further and further down. Their rough start to the season is continuing to become worse and worse after the last loss to the Redskins who also had a no-win season coming into the game. We can only hope that the Dolphins figure something out and get that first win that they came so close to yesterday.
Dolphins Extinct?
The way this season is going that isn’t a too far off question. Our Miami Dolphins may be the worst set of players the team has ever had. Although there is some talent hidden throughout, the players aren’t able to muster up enough strength to bring in their first win. Scheduling wise, there has been some tough games, but there really isn’t an excuse to be having these types of statistics this deep into the season. Currently as of after their fifth game against the Washington Redskins, they are holding possibly the worst stats the NFL has ever seen.
Lowest Lows
Miami Dolphins currently hold the lowest points scored and the highest points allowed. This is just a sample of the low caliber football that they are playing. They are within the bottom of most, if not every single statistic the NFL keeps track of. Dolphins have had a pretty tough schedule thus far. Most of the teams, outside of the Washington Redskins, bolstered winning records. However, the Dolphins may have a moments reprieve and a chance to get on the scoreboard in the next coming weeks. The Steelers and the Jets have also had it rough this year and they may be the ones the Dolphins kick it into high gear against. Otherwise, they better get their act together as they have two face offs against the 4-1 Buffalo Bills less than a month apart.
