As the year closes, so does the regular season of college and professional football. However, what comes next are the games we’ve been waiting for. College football showcased their playoffs over the past weekend and the outlook for the 2020 National Championship Game is set. These youngsters will be meeting up for one of the biggest sporting events of the year. The game will be aired on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET on Monday Jan. 13, 2020. It will be broadcast from the beautiful Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

 

College Football Playoffs

 

The college football playoffs began on Saturday with battles between the four top dogs of the year. Louisiana State University took on the University of Oklahoma. Also, Ohio State University went up against Clemson University. LSU defeated the Sooners with an outstanding performance. Oklahoma truly didn’t have a chance with Joe Burrow heading the charge for LSU. With a record-breaking playoff performance, Joe Burrow now holds the touchdown record with 7! Clemson, on the other hand, pulled off one of the greatest battle’s college football has seen. With Trevor Lawrence pulling off a 67-yard running touchdown in the final moments of the game. This Quarterback has seen over 20 games and has come out undefeated! These two games showcased two of the greatest Quarterbacks to grace to the College Football Playoffs.

 

LSU Vs. Clemson; Burrow Vs. Lawrence

 

If you haven’t paid any attention to College football this year, then this final game is the one you’re going to want to tune into. This battle is going to showcase two of the most skilled football players ever to grace the college football scene. Joe Burrow is setting records no one expected and is probably the most sought-after player in the 2020 NFL Draft. January 13 will put an end to the College Football season and LSU seems like they’re going to be the favorite!
