Kylie Jenner Lawsuits
A new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles is putting Kylie Jenner under legal scrutiny, as a former housekeeper accuses her household staff of creating a hostile and discriminatory work environment that allegedly led to psychological trauma.
“Hostility and Exclusion” Inside a Celebrity Household
According to court filings, former housekeeper Angelica Vasquez claims she endured sustained harassment while working at Jenner’s California properties between September 2024 and August 2025. The lawsuit alleges she was subjected to hostility and exclusion almost immediately after being hired, including being isolated from coworkers and assigned the most physically demanding and undesirable tasks. Vasquez, who is Salvadoran and Catholic, alleges she was mocked for her accent, religion, and national origin. The complaint claims supervisors made repeated derogatory remarks and treated her in a way intended to demean and intimidate her.
Allegations of Humiliation, Retaliation, and Physical Intimidation
The lawsuit details what Vasquez describes as an escalating pattern of abuse. She alleges she was publicly humiliated in front of coworkers, denied fair working conditions, and subjected to retaliation after raising concerns internally. One incident cited in the complaint involves a supervisor allegedly throwing hangers at her feet during a confrontation. The filing also claims she was forced to perform additional work beyond her job scope, sometimes without proper compensation, and was denied breaks and overtime pay.
Claims of PTSD and Forced Resignation
Vasquez says the work environment became so severe that it led to symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and extreme stress. After taking medical leave in mid-2025, she ultimately resigned, stating the conditions had become intolerable. She is now seeking damages that include unpaid wages, emotional distress, and punitive compensation. The lawsuit also demands a jury trial.
Jenner Named, but not Accused of Direct Misconduct
While Jenner is listed as a defendant in the lawsuit, the complaint does not accuse her of personally engaging in harassment. Instead, it argues she failed to intervene or address repeated complaints about the alleged behavior of her staff and management teams. Additional entities, including household staffing companies tied to Jenner’s operations, are also named in the suit.
No Public Response as Legal Scrutiny Intensifies
As of now, Jenner and her representatives have not issued a public response to the allegations. Some accounts from individuals familiar with the situation dispute aspects of the claims, though those assertions have not been tested in court.
What This Case Signals
This lawsuit adds to a growing pattern of legal challenges involving domestic labor in high-net-worth households, where oversight structures are often opaque and accountability can be difficult to establish. The case now moves into early legal proceedings, where the claims will be tested against evidence and testimony. At its core, the case raises a broader question that extends far beyond celebrity culture: when wealth insulates employers from day-to-day management, who is ultimately responsible for the conditions workers face behind closed doors?
