Fired Dancer Arrested After Violent Attack at North Miami Beach Strip Club
Police say a terminated employee returned with a metal pole and struck a manager in a chaotic confrontation that spilled into the streets.
A routine termination at a North Miami Beach strip club escalated into a violent incident Monday, ending with a 23-year-old dancer in custody facing multiple felony charges and additional warrants from out of state. According to police, Princess Aaliyah Bell was arrested after allegedly attacking a manager at Taboo, a strip club located on Northwest 170th Street. The incident unfolded after Bell, who had recently been fired, was allowed to return to the club to retrieve her belongings.
Incident Turns Violent Inside the Club
Authorities say what began as a routine visit quickly spiraled out of control. The club’s manager told responding officers that Bell had been terminated due to repeated behavioral issues, including fighting with coworkers and erratic conduct. Despite those concerns, management permitted her to come back to collect her personal items. Instead, according to the arrest report, Bell began running through the club, throwing objects, yelling, and causing a disturbance. Security escorted her out of the building, but the situation didn’t end there.
Return With a Weapon
Police say Bell returned moments later armed with a large metal pole, approximately seven feet long. Witnesses told officers she began waving the pole at security staff before throwing it toward the manager, striking them in the leg. The attack elevated the situation from a disturbance to a felony level assault involving a weapon. By the time officers arrived on scene, Bell had fled the area.
Foot Pursuit and Arrest
Officers located Bell nearby, walking close to a gas station, according to the report. When ordered to stop, she fled on foot, triggering a brief pursuit before being taken into custody. Even after her arrest, police say Bell continued to resist. She allegedly provided officers with a false name, claiming to be her older sister, and had to be physically assisted into the fingerprinting process to confirm her identity.
Charges and Additional Warrants
Bell now faces a series of charges, including aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting an officer without violence, and providing false identification. During her first court appearance, additional legal trouble surfaced. Authorities confirmed she has an active fugitive warrant out of Georgia tied to a robbery case, along with another warrant within Florida. A judge appointed a public defender and set her bond at $13,500.
A Snapshot of Escalation
The incident underscores how quickly workplace conflicts, especially in high tension environments, can escalate into violence when boundaries break down. What began as a controlled attempt to allow a former employee to retrieve belongings turned into a dangerous confrontation involving a weapon and multiple charges. For North Miami Beach police, the case is now straightforward. For the people involved, it’s anything but, another volatile encounter in South Florida where routine disputes can turn into criminal cases in a matter of minutes.
