The Epstein Pipeline: How Model Scouts Allegedly Recruited Young Girls for Jeffrey Epstein

CNN Investigation Reveals Model Scouts Continued Sending Young Women to Jeffrey Epstein Years After His Conviction

Newly Unsealed Records and Interviews Expose Alleged Recruitment Pipeline That Survived Epstein’s 2008 Sex Crime Conviction

A new CNN investigation is shining fresh light on one of the most disturbing questions surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s operation, how he continued gaining access to young women and aspiring models years after his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor. Drawing from newly unsealed court records, emails, invoices, and on camera interviews conducted in Paris, the investigation identifies multiple model scouts and industry insiders who allegedly continued introducing young women to Epstein long after his criminal history was public knowledge.

The findings suggest that Epstein’s influence within portions of the international modeling industry remained largely intact despite his status as a convicted sex offender. At the center of the investigation is Paris based model scout Daniel Sead, who maintained a professional relationship with Epstein for more than a decade and allegedly played a significant role in connecting aspiring models with the disgraced financier.

Emails Show Young Women Being Pitched to Epstein

According to records reviewed by CNN, Epstein paid Sead tens of thousands of dollars over the years. The investigation uncovered correspondence in which Sead allegedly presented young women to Epstein as potential assistants, models, or recruits.

In one exchange cited by CNN, Sead reportedly described a “cute French girl in Marrakesh” and told Epstein she would be happy to meet him. In another email, Epstein allegedly rejected a photograph Sead had sent of a prospective recruit, responding bluntly: “Too old.”

The communications have become some of the most scrutinized documents to emerge from the latest batch of Epstein files because they appear to show an ongoing pipeline of young women being introduced to Epstein well after his conviction became public knowledge.

The Victoria’s Secret Explanation

When confronted by CNN reporters in Paris, Sead defended his relationship with Epstein and claimed he believed the financier was legitimately connected to the fashion industry. Sead stated that he understood Epstein to be working as a casting director for Victoria’s Secret and as a financier connected to modeling agency MC Squared.

CNN reported it found no evidence that Epstein ever held an official casting or recruiting role with Victoria’s Secret or MC Squared. The explanation has become a major point of controversy because critics argue Epstein’s 2008 conviction should have raised obvious concerns regardless of any claimed business connections. Sead countered that because Epstein had already served his sentence and was legally free, he believed the matter had been resolved. According to CNN, Sead questioned why the United States government would release Epstein if he remained a danger.

Victims Describe Being Sent to Epstein

The report also includes testimony from women who say they were recruited through modeling contacts and eventually sent to meet Epstein. One woman, identified only as “Juliet,” told CNN she was approached in Paris as a young aspiring model and promised career opportunities in New York. After arriving in the United States, she says she was directed to meet Epstein.

According to her account, Epstein instructed her to remove clothing down to her underwear under the pretense of evaluating her body for modeling work. She described freezing in fear as the encounter became increasingly inappropriate. Another former model told CNN that she too was introduced to Epstein through Sead and later experienced abuse. The accounts add to a long list of allegations from women who have claimed they were recruited under false professional pretenses before encountering Epstein.

Other Industry Figures Named

The investigation also identifies several other modeling industry figures whose names appear in Epstein related records. Among them is Faith Kates, co-founder of Next Management. According to CNN, Epstein emailed Kates in 2010 asking for a “great girl” to accompany him to an event. Kates reportedly responded that she would think about who might be available.

A spokesperson told CNN that Kates was misled by Epstein and did not understand the true nature of his activities. Another model scout, Ramsey El Holly, was identified in records where he allegedly referred to a model as “a gift” he intended to give Epstein. The language has drawn significant criticism from advocates and survivors who argue it reflects a culture in which young women were treated as commodities within portions of the industry.

The Jean-Luc Brunel Connection

The investigation also revisits the role of French modeling executive Jean-Luc Brunel, one of the most controversial figures associated with Epstein. Brunel operated multiple modeling agencies and faced allegations in civil litigation that he helped recruit and transport women for Epstein and his powerful associates. French authorities later arrested Brunel on charges involving underage sex crimes. He died in a French prison in 2022 while awaiting trial. His death left many questions unanswered about the broader network of recruiters and facilitators who allegedly helped connect young women with Epstein.

Active Investigation Continues in France

The Paris prosecutor’s office continues to investigate Epstein’s recruitment network and potential criminal activity connected to France. CNN reported that Sead remains part of the broader inquiry, although he claimed during the interview that French investigators had not formally questioned him.

The ongoing investigation represents one of the last major efforts by international authorities to fully map the network of individuals who allegedly helped Epstein maintain access to young women despite years of warnings, allegations, and a criminal conviction.

The Bigger Question…

Perhaps the most troubling revelation from CNN’s reporting is not that Epstein continued seeking access to young women after 2008. It is that so many people appear to have continued opening doors for him. For years, Epstein’s wealth, influence, and carefully cultivated image allowed him to move freely through elite social, business, and fashion circles.

The newly unsealed records suggest that even after his conviction, many individuals either failed to ask hard questions, ignored obvious warning signs, or accepted explanations that allowed the relationship to continue. As investigators in France continue examining the recruitment pipeline, the focus is increasingly shifting away from Epstein himself and toward the network of enablers, scouts, executives, and associates who allegedly helped keep that pipeline operating long after the world should have known better.
