Adebayo Dominates as Heat Cruise Past Nets 124-98 for Fifth Win in Seven Games

The Miami Heat delivered a dominant performance Tuesday night, rolling past the Brooklyn Nets 124-98 to open a two-game set with authority.

Leading the charge was Bam Adebayo, who stuffed the stat sheet with 23 points, nine rebounds, and an eye-popping six steals, anchoring both ends of the floor. Miami’s balanced attack proved too much for a struggling Brooklyn squad, as the Heat secured their fifth win in the last seven games.

Tyler Herro added 22 points, continuing his strong offensive run, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. contributed 20 points in another efficient outing. Miami set the tone early, with Adebayo and Herro each scoring 15 points by halftime. Jaquez and Andrew Wiggins chipped in 13 apiece in the first half, helping the Heat build a commanding 69-54 lead at the break.

The Heat offense was clicking from the start, shooting 53% in the opening two quarters. Their momentum only grew after halftime, as Miami pulled away decisively in the fourth quarter, stretching the lead to as many as 27 points.

Brooklyn, meanwhile, continued to spiral, dropping its ninth straight game. Noah Clowney led the Nets with 17 points, while Ziaire Williams added 16 and Nolan Traore finished with 14.

It was a particularly rough night for Brooklyn’s leading scorer, Michael Porter Jr., who struggled mightily. Porter shot just 3-for-17 from the field, including 0-for-9 from beyond the arc, ending with only nine points in a performance that summed up the_nts’ recent woes.

Wiggins, after a productive first half, was held scoreless over the final two quarters, logging just 11 minutes and attempting only two shots after the break.

The Nets have now gone nearly a month without a win since their last back-to-back victories, and their issues showed on both ends of the floor against a confident Miami squad.

The two teams will meet again Thursday night in Miami, where the Heat will look to complete the series sweep while the Nets try to snap their lengthy losing streak.
