Man Charged in Violent Attack at North Miami Beach Massage Parlor
MIAMI — A 25-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly attacking two employees at a North Miami Beach massage parlor in September 2024.
According to police, Didier Gamble entered the establishment on the night of September 16, requesting a massage and was directed to a private room with one of the employees. Once inside, Gamble allegedly brandished a box cutter, held it to the employee’s neck, and demanded sexual acts.
The arrest report states that the employee managed to escape the room but was slashed on the neck by Gamble during the struggle.
A second employee intervened and was also attacked. Police said Gamble punched the second victim multiple times, biting her arm and ear, severing her right earlobe during the assault. He reportedly fled the scene after stealing her phone.
Investigators reviewed surveillance footage, which captured Gamble entering and fleeing the business. In December 2024, a tip from anonymous witnesses helped detectives identify him. A family member later confirmed his identity after being shown images from the surveillance footage.
Gamble was apprehended on January 21 in North Miami and is now facing charges of armed sexual battery, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated battery.
During questioning, Gamble denied the allegations, according to police. He has since been transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center for processing.
Authorities confirmed both victims sustained visible injuries during the attack, including the loss of the second employee’s earlobe.
The investigation remains ongoing, and Gamble is expected to face trial in the coming months.
