Guy Ritchie’s MobLand on Paramount+ Season Two Trailer

MobLand Season Two is Coming, and if The Trailer is Any Indication, Things Are Going to Get Even More Bonkers

If you loved MobLand the way I did, the release of the Season Two trailer feels like Christmas morning for people who enjoy watching extremely wealthy criminals threaten to murder each other while wearing very expensive clothes.

Paramount+ has officially dropped the trailer for Season Two, and it looks like the Harrigan family is in considerably more trouble than they were when we left them. Tom Hardy is back as Harry Da Souza, the remarkably calm, brutally efficient fixer who somehow manages to keep everyone else from completely destroying themselves. Pierce Brosnan returns as Conrad Harrigan, while Helen Mirren is back as Maeve Harrigan, and judging by the trailer, neither of them has suddenly discovered the benefits of conflict resolution.

Season 2 premieres September 18, 2026, with ten episodes scheduled to arrive weekly every Friday. And judging from this trailer, MobLand isn’t coming back quietly.

The Harrigans’ criminal empire is fractured, outside enemies are circling, and Harry is once again stuck in the middle of a family that seems determined to make every possible situation dramatically worse. The official Season 2 description says rising rivals threaten the Harrigans while internal tensions continue to tear the family apart. Harry has to navigate the increasingly dangerous situation while trying to keep the entire operation from collapsing.

If Season Two is Anything Like Season One… Well, Holy Sh*t

What made the first season so damn good wasn’t simply the gangster story. We’ve seen organized crime dramas before. We’ve seen rival families, drug empires, betrayals, corrupt cops, violent bosses and people sitting around expensive tables discussing someone’s unfortunate upcoming disappearance.

Creator Guy Ritchie’s MobLand took those familiar ingredients and gave them an outstanding cast.

Tom Hardy was fantastic as Harry Da Souza. He didn’t need to constantly scream or wave a gun around to establish that Harry was dangerous. There was something particularly entertaining about watching him walk into situations where everyone else was completely losing their minds while Harry remained almost unnervingly composed.

Then you had Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.

Brosnan’s Conrad Harrigan was a terrific combination of old-school gangster, family patriarch and completely unstable man who could turn a business meeting into a potential bloodbath. Mirren’s Maeve was every bit as compelling, arguably even more frightening because she could deliver a line with the calm sophistication of someone ordering lunch while making it perfectly clear that somebody’s life was about to become considerably shorter.

The chemistry between Brosnan and Mirren was one of the show’s biggest weapons. And then there was Hardy, standing between all of them as the guy who has to clean up the mess.

Can Season Two Be Even Better Than Season One?

The new trailer suggests we’re going to get more of what worked in Season One, while turning the pressure up considerably.

Harry warns that the Harrigans are in a “death spiral,” while the family finds itself surrounded by enemies. Conrad appears to be approaching the point where whatever tiny piece of sanity remains has packed its bags and moved out. And that’s before the shooting starts.

The trailer promises more violence, more betrayals and an increasingly desperate struggle for control of the Harrigan empire. Conrad declares that the family will give its enemies a war, while Maeve looks every bit as dangerous as she did in Season One.

There are also some interesting new faces joining the cast, including Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond and Janet McTeer, alongside returning stars such as Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt and Anson Boon.

And perhaps most importantly, Tom Hardy is back.

There had been reports earlier this year that Hardy might not return if the show reached a third season because of behind-the-scenes tensions. Those reports created plenty of speculation, but Hardy is back for Season Two, and recent reporting indicates discussions about a potential third season are still possible. So for fans, that’s obviously good news.

If you like British TV. If you like mob / mafia storylines. If you like great acting. If you liked Snatch or The Gentlemen, then this show is a “must-watch” for you. Binge watch Season One and thank SFL.media later.
