There has been a lot of speculation about Vladimir Putin’s mental well-being since the invasion of Ukraine. These rumors have been further fueled by reports of Putin meeting with a Russian cancer doctor multiple times in recent months. As well as reports that the leader of his security forces, FSB chief Nikolai Patrushev, will be in power while Putin recovers from an upcoming surgery. Putin has never been a good leader or even a good human being in my personal opinion. But he was always calculated and in some ways reliable, not reliable in that he kept his word in international affairs. But reliable in being consistently Vladimir Putin. The war in Ukraine and the giant miscalculation to invade in the first place seemed to be way out of character for Putin. As such rumors have been spreading far and wide that the new unhinged Putin, may have cancer or Parkinson’s Disease, and that his health issues could be affecting his leadership and decision-making ability.

Vladimir PutinWhatever is happening with Putin one thing is clear he is hands down the most dangerous person in the world right now. He has the world’s biggest arsenal of nuclear weapons, he has chemical weapons, and he is clearly not afraid to kill massive amounts of people. Putin has delusions of grandeur and of reuniting the old Soviet Union that will likely be impossible for him to achieve now. So how is he going to handle that epic loss and blow to his legacy? Putin is not a man to accept defeat or throw in his cards when things get a little tough, he is a former KGB agent after all. Putin will likely not stop the war until he has exhausted all his options. Options that in this scenario include using a tactical nuclear weapon.

That is not good, to say the least, and I think everyone on the planet who is engaged in the news feels us slipping close and closer to that possible reality every single day lately. There is no way Putin goes out without a fight and we have all gotten a good clean look at how this man fights over the last couple of months. The man is a ruthless and fearless killer with no regard for anything other than the victory he wants to achieve for himself. The fact that Putin may have cancer and will be undergoing surgery soon would answer a lot of our questions. But, it probably wouldn’t make us any safer. If Putin has cancer and is facing his own mortality, he could literally be capable of anything.

This is why we never should have let Putin get away with killing Boris Nemtsov in front of the Kremlin, poisoning his own former agent Alexander Litvinenko in the UK, and poisoning and imprisoning his opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Putin also used his online bot army to cause Brexit, get Trump elected, and invade Crimea. The man was simply power-drunk with his own unbelievable luck and accomplishments at that point. We were so so happy with our extravagant United States lives that we didn’t even care that Putin was playing these murderous games in his little ice lair way over in Russia. That is until now. Now we have a civilian murdering mad man on the loose, who has gotten his way his entire life, is sitting on enough Nukes to end the world, and who is facing his own death. We can never let this happen again. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. All dictators must be taken out early and at the knees. You can’t let them gain money, power, and weapons and then have them go crazy on humanity when they finally have to face their own mortality and death.
