Who Was Qasem Soleimani?
Qasem Soleimani was an Iranian General who was killed in the recent bombing of Baghdad by the United States. He was renown throughout the military world. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Otherwise known as the Quds Force, this elite group of soldiers led by Soleimani helped spread the reaches of Iran through Syria and Iraq. He was age 62 and had a lifetime of military alliances and pull through the people he has met and dealt with. However, Soleimani was also thought to have been part of many pro-Iranian militia troops that have caused international problems throughout the world. His life was ended soon after the attack on the United States Embassy. President Trump ordered the bombing and he was the target.

This back and forth battle between Iran and the United States is very unstable and dangerous. The fall of the renown military leader Qasem Soleimani has brought upon a three-day funeral that millions of people had showed up to. The movement was massive and displays the depth that the general truly had throughout the areas. Feelings are currently heated between the countries.
