Ben Swann Says He Believes Jeffrey Epstein Is Still Alive

Ben Swann Says He Is “90% Sure” Jeffrey Epstein Is Still Alive, Reviving One of the Most Controversial Theories in Modern America

Nearly seven years after Jeffrey Epstein’s death inside a federal jail cell shocked the nation, former television journalist Ben Swann is advancing a theory that goes even further than claims of murder or cover up. Appearing on a recent episode of the Danny Jones Podcast, Swann said he is now “90% sure” Epstein is still alive and believes the disgraced financier may have been secretly removed from prison rather than dying inside his Manhattan jail cell.

The claim represents a dramatic shift for Swann, who said he previously believed Epstein had been murdered while in custody. Instead, Swann now argues that a growing collection of anomalies surrounding the official narrative point toward a more extraordinary possibility: that Epstein was exfiltrated alive.

From Murder Theory to Escape Theory

According to Swann, his views changed while conducting research for an unrelated investigative project. He told Jones that information received from a trusted source convinced him that the most likely explanation was not that Epstein was killed, but that he never died at all.

“I was 99% sure he was murdered,” Swann explained during the podcast discussion. He now says he places the odds at roughly 90% that Epstein remains alive and only 10% that he is actually dead.

The claim immediately places Swann among a growing group of independent investigators who argue that the official explanation surrounding Epstein’s death leaves too many unanswered questions.

The Autopsy Questions

One of the issues discussed during the podcast involved details from the official autopsy report. Swann pointed to what he described as a discrepancy involving Epstein’s prostate. According to the discussion, the medical examiner’s report referenced examination of Epstein’s prostate. Swann argues that prior medical records indicated Epstein had undergone prostate surgery and allegedly no longer had a prostate at the time of his death.

If accurate, Swann contends the discrepancy would raise significant questions regarding the identity of the body examined during the autopsy. The claim has circulated in alternative media circles for years but remains disputed and has not been accepted by federal investigators.

The Ambulance and the Body Rollout

Swann also highlighted details surrounding the public appearance of Epstein’s body following his reported death. According to Swann, internal communications contained within released Epstein related files indicate that prison officials initially wheeled a covered object out of the facility before moving what was later identified as Epstein’s body.

Swann argues that if such actions occurred, they would suggest deliberate efforts to manipulate media coverage and public perception. He and Jones further questioned how photographers happened to be positioned at the precise location where images of Epstein’s body on a gurney were captured. The resulting photographs became some of the most widely circulated images connected to the Epstein case and remain a focus of ongoing speculation among independent researchers.

The Jail Cell Reconstruction

Perhaps the most detailed portion of the discussion involved a physical reconstruction of Epstein’s prison cell reportedly conducted by investigator Andy Bamonte. According to Jones, Bamonte initially dismissed many conspiracy theories surrounding the case before attempting to recreate the official suicide scenario using prison blueprints, photographs, and measurements. During the reconstruction process, Bamonte allegedly discovered discrepancies between publicly available prison schematics and internal plans.

The discussion focused on a concrete structural feature extending into the cell that reportedly reduced available space far beyond what most observers understood. Jones and Swann argued that the layout made the official hanging scenario difficult to reconcile with the physical evidence described in the autopsy. According to their account, attempts to replicate the hanging would have resulted in significant impact injuries to the head that were not documented during the examination of Epstein’s body.

The Body Double Theory

The conversation concluded with discussion of claims that the body photographed on a gurney after Epstein’s reported death may not have been Epstein at all. Swann referenced longstanding internet discussions comparing the shape of the ears visible in the gurney photographs with verified images of Epstein taken during his lifetime. Supporters of the theory argue that the physical characteristics do not match.

The discussion also touched on statements made by Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, who publicly identified the body as Jeffrey Epstein after viewing it at the morgue. Swann suggested that if a successful extraction operation had occurred, family members would have had strong incentives to publicly affirm Epstein’s death. No evidence has emerged publicly to support that claim.

A Theory That Refuses to Die

The official position of federal authorities remains unchanged. Multiple investigations concluded that Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges in August 2019. Nevertheless, Epstein’s death continues to generate intense public scrutiny unlike almost any other modern criminal case.

The combination of missing surveillance footage, sleeping guards, powerful associates, intelligence agency speculation, sealed records, and ongoing document releases has ensured that alternative theories continue to attract public attention. Swann’s latest comments represent one of the strongest endorsements yet of the belief that Epstein may have escaped custody altogether. Whether the evidence ultimately supports that conclusion remains heavily disputed. What is certain is that nearly seven years after Epstein’s death, the questions surrounding one of America’s most notorious criminals continue to fuel debate, speculation, and investigations across both mainstream and independent media.
