Man Dies at MSG on Saturday
A Connecticut man died Saturday night after falling from an upper level inside Madison Square Garden during a concert, according to New York City police.
Authorities identified the victim as 51 year old Paul Kueker of Niantic, Connecticut. Police said officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:51 p.m. after reports of an injured man inside the iconic Manhattan arena. When first responders arrived, they found Kueker unconscious and unresponsive with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said Kueker had been attending a concert by the Connecticut based rock band Goose when the incident occurred. Police reported that he fell from the arena’s 300 level seating area.
