South Florida Steakhouse Offers ‘Classy’ Nude Dining Experience
South Florida has never been accused of being boring, but one Hollywood steakhouse has taken the concept of dinner and added a rather unexpected dress code: none at all. C.L.A.S.S. Soirée Steakhouse, located in Hollywood, Florida, is offering a monthly “Nude Dining Experience,” where adult guests can sit down to a five-course steakhouse dinner completely naked. Because apparently putting on pants before going out to dinner has officially become optional.
The restaurant, owned and operated by chef Maurad Ali, describes the experience as an upscale, social dining event rather than anything resembling a traditional adult entertainment venue. The concept was created partly as a way to make the relatively small restaurant stand out in an extremely competitive South Florida restaurant market. Ali has said the goal is to create something “remarkable” that gets people talking, and judging by the attention the restaurant has received, that strategy appears to be working. The first nude-dining event reportedly sold out within a day of being announced.
The experience is limited to adults and is designed to be relatively intimate, with approximately 20 diners participating in the events. Guests can arrive and change into a robe before deciding whether they want to remove it immediately or gradually become comfortable with the experience. The restaurant emphasizes that the event is about dining and socializing, not sexual activity, and rules prohibit physical contact without explicit consent.
The Price and the Rules
This isn’t exactly a budget dinner where you strip down for a $12 steak. Recent events have been priced at $250 for men, $150 for women, or $300 for a couple. The package includes a champagne toast and a five-course meal featuring upscale dishes. The menu has included grass-fed filet mignon, Florida lobster tail, vegetable spring rolls, truffle macaroni and cheese, French-style mashed potatoes, beignets and ice cream.
But keep this in mind. While the customers are naked, the restaurant employees remain fully clothed. According to the city of Hollywood, that distinction is important from a legal standpoint. A city spokesperson told the media that the event is legal because the staff working the dinner are clothed. So, in an odd reversal of the traditional strip-club model, the audience is the one doing the stripping while the employees are just trying to serve the filet mignon without dropping it.
Is This More Than a Gimmick?
The restaurant itself is considerably more conventional than the nude dinners might suggest. CLASS Soirée is a small, 26-seat steakhouse in downtown Hollywood that describes its cuisine as American steakhouse fare mixed with Latin and Asian influences. Its regular menu includes steaks, chops, seafood and other upscale dishes, and the restaurant has built a reputation around intimate dining and an elegant atmosphere.
Ali insists that the food remains the centerpiece. The nudity is the gimmick, but the restaurant wants the evening to feel more like an unconventional fine-dining experience than a sexual spectacle. That distinction is important because the restaurant is deliberately attempting to position the event as sophisticated, social and body-positive rather than raunchy.
The idea has predictably generated plenty of reactions from people who have absolutely no intention of ever eating there. Even Hollywood Mayor Josh Levy weighed in, saying he enjoys Ali’s cooking but joking that diners probably shouldn’t expect to see him attending on the first Monday of the month. His position was essentially that if there is a market for it and the windows are covered, adults can make their own decisions.
For those brave enough to put their steak where their clothes aren’t, the Nude Dining Experience is scheduled for the first Monday of each month. The next announced event is September 7th, 2026. Reservations are required, and the restaurant’s small size means this is not exactly an event where you can casually wander in after deciding at 6:45 that tonight feels like a good night to eat dinner naked.

Whether nude dining becomes a legitimate South Florida trend or remains one of those wonderfully bizarre ideas that people try once and then quietly never mention again remains to be seen. But in a region where people already dine in bikinis, drive exotic cars to dinner and treat hurricane season like a neighborhood inconvenience, a steakhouse where everyone takes their clothes off before the appetizers somehow feels less shocking than it should. The only question remaining is whether the food is good enough to make people forget that they are sitting across the table from a complete stranger who decided pants were optional.
Nobody asked the ownership if there were restrictions on the guests, but I will presume it on my own that “No Fatties Allowed”.
