Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler brings his celebrated blend of Latin pop, folk and world music to South Florida when he takes the stage at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 8 p.m.
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1964, Drexler originally trained as a physician before abandoning medicine to pursue music full-time. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has released 14 albums and become one of Latin music’s most respected singer-songwriters. His trophy case includes an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Al otro lado del río” and 16 Latin Grammy Awards.
Drexler’s Miami appearance comes as he tours behind “TARACÁ,” his latest album and one of his most distinctly Uruguayan projects. The record draws heavily from candombe, the rhythmic musical tradition of Uruguay, combining percussion with Drexler’s trademark poetic songwriting. His Miami performance will feature an eight-piece band, including three candombe drummers.
For Miami audiences, the concert offers a chance to see an internationally acclaimed artist reconnect with his roots while pushing his music in a new direction. And because apparently being an Oscar-winning, 16-time Latin Grammy-winning singer-songwriter wasn’t enough, Drexler also happens to have a medical degree.

Asake in Concert @ The James L. Knight Center in Miami
2x Grammy-nominated artist Asake is an Afrobeats singer and songwriter hailing from Nigeria, and one of the genre’s leading global artists. With a musical journey grounded in spirituality and connection, his sound blends fuji, Afropop and amapiano styles to create infectious melodies with Yoruba-inspired storytelling.
Asake’s debut album, Mr. Money With the Vibe (2022), became the highest-charting Nigerian debut album in history at the time of its release. His following albums, Work Of Art and Lungu Boy, produced more hits like “Lonely At The Top,” “Remember,” and “Wave.” Lungu Boy secured the spot as the longest-running number one album in Nigerian chart history and currently ranks among the Top 20 most-streamed Nigerian albums of all time.
Asake’s 2024 Lungu Boy World Tour sold out shows at Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, the O2 Arena and other major arenas around the world, further cementing his place as one of Afrobeats’ global leading artists.

Blues Traveler & Gin Blossoms with Spin Doctors @ Hard Rock Live in Hollywood
Blues Traveler, who last year celebrated 30 years since the single release of their GRAMMY Award-winning breakthrough hit “Run-Around,” a milestone highlighted in a Rolling Stone interview with frontman John Popper and will join Gin Blossoms, whose quadruple-platinum album “New Miserable Experience” helped define ‘90s alternative radio, for this highly-anticipated run.
In addition, returning from last year’s lineup, the tour features legendary alternative rock band Spin Doctors, commemorating this year the 35th anniversary of their multi-platinum debut “Pocket Full of Kryptonite,” home to the chart-topping, GRAMMY-nominated hit “Two Princes.”
Over an illustrious career, Blues Traveler has played more than two-thousand live shows in front of over 30 million people and, with “Run-Around,” achieved the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history earning the band a GRAMMY for “Best Rock Performance” by a Duo or Group with Vocals. In 2021, Blues Traveler released the GRAMMY-nominated “Traveler’s Blues” (Round Hill Records), a collection of reimagined and recharged classics from the American blues songbook and the group’s first official blues album. The second release in this series, 2023’s “Traveler’s Soul,” takes a similar approach, consisting of cover songs from a specific genre — this time classic R&B and soul.
Formed in Tempe, Arizona in 1987, Gin Blossoms helped define alternative radio in the early ‘90s with their breakout major-label debut “New Miserable Experience.” Led by the gold-certified hit “Hey Jealousy,” the album went on to sell more than four million copies, delivering enduring singles like “Allison Road” and “Until I Fall Away” and cementing the band as power-pop mainstays. Their hometown legacy was officially recognized in October 2022, when Tempe unveiled an honorary street sign renaming a section of 8th Street between Rural Road and Una Avenue as “Allison Road Avenue,” celebrating both the beloved song and the album’s 30th anniversary.

He has been called one of the most original stand-up comics in the country, and his performances leave audiences laughing in tears. Michael Blackson, aka, ‘The African King of Comedy’, has been entertaining audiences all across the country and around the globe for more than a decade. Inspired by the stand up comedy of Eddie Murphy, Blackson began to develop his comedic talent in 1992 in the unkind comedy clubs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Blackson’s comedic appeal grew from his involvement with BET’s ComicView series, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at Harlem, and Live in Hollywood. However, it was in a Los Angeles comedy club where Blackson got his big break. Blackson was performing at the Comedy Store where actor/director Ice Cube was in attendance to see comedian Mike Epps perform. But after experiencing Blackson’s performance, Ice Cube invited the young comic for a reading…and the rest is smash hit history! Jo Koy In Concert @ Hard Rock Live in Hollywood
The comedian continues to be one of the top 10 grossing stand-up comedians each year according to Pollstar and Billboard. Today, he continues selling out and breaking sales records at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including Mall of Asia Arena (Manila, PH), The Forum (Los Angeles), Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai), ICC Theatre (Sydney, AU), O2 Arena (London), Madison Square Garden (New York City), and American Airlines Arena (Dallas) to name a few. In 2022, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour by selling-out the Climate Pledge Arena (over 14,000 tickets) in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome (over 19,000 tickets). In 2017, Koy broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at 23,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. In response, the mayor’s office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as “Jo Koy Day.”
Koy starred in the 2022 Universal Picture comedy Easter Sunday, the film takes place around a struggling single father that returns to his hometown of Daly City, CA to survive a chaotic Easter with his family. The film is a love letter to his Filipino roots and is loosely based on Jo Koy’s life experiences and stand-up comedy. Easter Sunday was produced by Steven Spielberg’s production company Amblin Partners and is the first motion picture film to feature an all-Filipino cast and be produced by a major studio. In honor of the film, Daly City gave Jo the Keys To The City and declared July 22nd “Jo Koy Day.”
In recognition of his impact on Hollywood and comedy, Koy was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre on February 11, 2026, joining an elite group of distinguished entertainers. In 2027, he will be further recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, honoring his lasting contributions to the entertainment industry.
In 2022, Koy was once again acknowledged for his advocacy for more representation in entertainment and was given the proclamation in Los Angeles that October 7th would be declared “Jo Koy Day.”

Juanes in Concert @ Kaseya Center in Miami
Colombian rock star Juanes is heading to Miami, and Kaseya Center is about to get a serious dose of Latin rock. With a career spanning more than two decades, Juanes has become one of the biggest names in Latin music, mixing rock, pop and Colombian influences into a sound that has produced massive hits like “La Camisa Negra,” “A Dios le Pido” and “Me Enamora.”
His Juanes World Tour 2026 lands at Kaseya Center in Miami on September 4, bringing the energy of his live shows to South Florida. Born with congenital glaucoma and blind in his left eye since childhood, Fetty began releasing music in 2014 and his debut single Trap Queen became one of the defining songs of 2015, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning diamond certification. Fall Fest 2026 Concert w/ Lil Baby & Kodak Black @ Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise
South Florida is getting one hell of a way to kick off Labor Day weekend. Fall Fest 2026 hits Amerant Bank Arena with hip-hop heavyweights Lil Baby and Kodak Black headlining a packed night of live performances. The show starts at 8 p.m.
The lineup goes well beyond the two headliners. YFN Lucci, Yung Miami, 42 Dugg, Rob49, YK Niece and 1900 Rugrat are also scheduled to take the stage, with the arena promising an even larger lineup with additional artists.
Lil Baby has become one of the biggest names in modern hip-hop, while Kodak Black brings plenty of South Florida credibility to a show taking place practically in his backyard. Add YFN Lucci, Yung Miami, 42 Dugg and the rest of the lineup, and Fall Fest is shaping up to be less of a traditional “fall festival” and more of a massive hip-hop party with several thousand people screaming lyrics at one another.
