If you think South Florida has nothing going on this week, you probably just haven’t been looking in the right places. There’s a hell of a lot more happening across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and the surrounding areas than whatever is waiting for you on your television tonight.
Every week brings a new lineup of concerts, comedy shows, live music, DJs, festivals, theater productions, nightlife and plenty of events that are difficult to categorize but somehow sound like a good time. Some are major productions. Others are smaller local happenings that can easily disappear beneath the endless flood of event listings and social media posts.
That’s where SFL.media steps in. We sort through the noise to find the events actually worth knowing about, covering everything from major performances and comedy acts to local musicians, parties, festivals, theater and the wonderfully strange stuff that makes South Florida, well, South Florida.
Whether you’re looking for a big night out, a concert, a comedy show, a local band, a DJ, a festival or an event that makes you stop and ask, “What the hell is that?”, we’re digging it up.
Because having nothing to do and not knowing what’s happening are two very different things. With something happening practically every night somewhere across South Florida, staying home is certainly an option. It just shouldn’t be the only one.
Check SFL.media every week for our latest look at what’s happening around South Florida and find something worth leaving the house for.

Rosalia: LUX TOUR 2026 @ Kaseya Center in Miami
Spanish superstar Rosalía brings her highly anticipated LUX TOUR 2026 to arenas around the world, supporting her ambitious LUX album. The tour showcases Rosalía’s evolution from flamenco-inspired pop star into one of the most adventurous and genre-defying artists in contemporary music, blending pop, flamenco, classical influences, electronic production and striking visual elements.

The LUX album features the London Symphony Orchestra along with an impressive collection of collaborators, including Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza and Yves Tumor. The music explores spirituality, identity and transformation while continuing Rosalía’s habit of ignoring the traditional boundaries between musical genres.
For South Florida fans, the LUX TOUR 2026 makes its stop at Kaseya Center in Miami on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with the show scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. The Miami performance was previously postponed, making the rescheduled appearance one of the more anticipated concert stops of the month.
With elaborate production, orchestral elements and material from LUX alongside Rosalía’s established catalog, the tour is designed as considerably more than a standard pop concert. It is essentially Rosalía doing what Rosalía does best: taking several musical traditions, throwing them into a blender, and somehow making the result sound intentional.

Jutes: Smile You’re On Tour @ Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale
Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based artist Jutes brings his genre-bending sound to the road with the “Smile You’re on Tour” 2026 tour. Jutes has carved out a distinctive lane by mixing alternative rock, hip-hop, R&B, metal and pop into a raw, emotionally charged style that can move from melodic and vulnerable to loud and aggressive without much warning.

The tour supports Jutes’ recent music, including material from his 2025 album Dilworth, and features songs such as “Sleepyhead,” “It Takes Two,” “Love Psychosis,” “Vertigo,” “Disassociate” and “One of Us.” His live set leans heavily into the rock side of his music, with a mixture of emotional confessionals, heavy guitar-driven moments and songs built for a crowd that apparently still enjoys jumping around in a dark room instead of staring at TikTok for three hours.
The North American run includes stops across the country, with Mothica, In Color and wilt appearing on various dates. For South Florida fans, Jutes performs at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, September 17, 2026, with Mothica and wilt on the lineup.
The current live set runs roughly 20 songs and includes “Cry Wolf,” “SMUT,” “Blink Twice,” “Mannequin,” “Obsessed,” “Smile, You’re on Camera,” “Limerence,” “Icarus,” “White Butterflies,” “Red Velvet” and “Disassociate,” followed by an encore featuring “Chin Up, Beautiful” and “Sleepyhead.”

The tour marks the group’s first extensive North American run since 2022 and brings co-founder Damon Albarn together with the Gorillaz live band and a lineup of special guests.
The North American leg kicks off in Orlando before heading to Miami, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other major cities, wrapping up with a Halloween-night performance in Seattle on October 31. Little Simz joins the majority of the dates, while Deltron 3030 is also featured throughout the tour.
For South Florida fans, Gorillaz will hit Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday, September 18, 2026. Expect a massive multimedia production combining the band’s genre-hopping music with the distinctive animated world created by Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett. Basically, it is a concert where the musicians are real, the cartoon characters aren’t, and somehow the cartoons still manage to steal the damn show.
