You know her songs. You know her dance moves. And now some psycho wanted to see if she could duck bullets. A very scary story comes out of California, as pop superstar Rihanna had multiple gunshots fired at her home in BROAD DAYLIGHT.
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, police responded to reports of gunfire at Rihanna’s home in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, around 1:15PM local time. That is obviously right in the heart of the day. Pretty brazen, to be honest.
A woman in her 30s allegedly fired multiple rounds at the property from a vehicle parked outside. Reports say about 7–10 shots were fired using an AR-15–style rifle. Bullets struck the gate and an RV parked in the driveway. At least one bullet hit the house exterior in some reports.
It was reported that Rihanna was inside the house at the time, but no one was injured. What was unclear was whether her partner, and rapper, A$AP Rocky, or their children were present.
Police quickly located the suspect after the shooting. She allegedly fled in a white Tesla and was arrested about 30 minutes later at a shopping center in Sherman Oaks. Officers reportedly recovered an assault-style rifle and shell casings from the vehicle. Police are not revealing any informationon the “alleged” suspect.
The motive is still unknown. The case is being investigated by the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division, which often handles high-profile crimes involving celebrities.
Because investigators haven’t released the suspect’s identity or background yet, there’s no confirmed connection to Rihanna, which is why they haven’t officially labeled it stalking.
Some media and fans are wondering if it might be a stalker-type situation because Rihanna has had serious stalker incidents before. These include an incident in 2018, in which a man broke into her Los Angeles home and stayed inside for about 12 hours, saying he intended to have sex with her. He was later charged with stalking and burglary.
Earlier incidents also involved people repeatedly showing up at her homes claiming personal relationships with her. So there is a history of security threats around her properties, but this shooting is much more serious than those incidents.
Obviously, this is not something that happens very often to celebrities of any kind. Personally, I would imagine that the police would really want to question this thoroughly. A crazy fan may be creepy and may want contact with their celeb-crush, but it is very rare that they just start bucking shots into the celeb’s home. That could be a whole different can of worms. We may never truly know, but there could be a lot more to this if you ask me.
