Giada De Laurentiis And Alan Bersten Eliminated From ‘Dancing With The Stars’

DWTS Eliminates 3rd Couple

The third couple has been eliminated from Season 35 of “Dancing With the Stars,” with celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis and professional dancer Alan Bersten sent home during the September 22 episode.

The elimination came during “Viral Hits Night,” when the remaining couples performed routines inspired by songs and moments that became popular online. De Laurentiis and Bersten performed a salsa to Becky G’s “Bella Ciao.”

The Final Three

The elimination came down to Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten, Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess, and Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson. After the judges’ scores were combined with viewer votes, De Laurentiis and Bersten were announced as the couple leaving the competition. De Laurentiis and Bersten had previously earned 16 points during the premiere week. Their Week 2 performance earned 12 points from the judges before the latest elimination.

Third Couple Sent Home

De Laurentiis and Bersten are the third couple eliminated this season. Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman were eliminated on September 15, followed by Sarah Jane Nader and Hailey Bills on September 16.

With the latest elimination, 13 couples remain in the competition as the celebrities continue competing for the Mirrorball Trophy. “Dancing With the Stars” continues Tuesdays on ABC and Disney+.
