Goo Goo Dolls w/ Neon Trees @ Hard Rock Live in Hollywood

Two generations of alternative and pop-rock collide this summer as the Goo Goo Dolls hit the road with Neon Trees for an extensive 2026 U.S. tour. The tour brings together the veteran Buffalo rockers behind some of the biggest emotional anthems of the ’90s and 2000s with Neon Trees, the energetic Utah band responsible for modern pop-rock favorites such as “Everybody Talks” and “Animal.”

googoodolls neontrees photo

The Goo Goo Dolls remain one of rock’s most enduring touring acts, with a catalog packed with songs that have somehow managed to survive decades of changing musical trends, questionable fashion choices and humanity’s apparently endless obsession with nostalgia. Fans can expect a set built around the band’s biggest hits, including “Iris,” “Slide,” “Name,” “Black Balloon,” and “Broadway,” along with newer material from the band’s more recent releases.

Neon Trees bring a completely different burst of energy to the evening. Known for their colorful stage presence and highly infectious pop-rock sound, the band has built a reputation for turning concert crowds into giant sing-alongs. Their set features favorites such as “Everybody Talks,” “Animal,” “Sleeping With a Friend,” and “1983.”

The Hollywood performance is particularly convenient for South Florida concertgoers who would rather spend their evening listening to two decades of alternative-rock hits than explaining to someone why they still know every word to “Iris.” With the Goo Goo Dolls headlining and Neon Trees providing direct support, the 2026 Summer Tour offers a strong combination of nostalgia, modern pop-rock energy and plenty of songs designed to be screamed back at the stage.

DEVO: Mutate Don’t Stagnate Tour @ The Fillmore at The Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach

DEVO is back on the road, because apparently the band that spent decades warning us about human de-evolution has decided humanity still needs a live demonstration. The legendary Akron, Ohio new-wave pioneers are bringing their bizarre, futuristic combination of punk, art rock, electronic music and social commentary to stages across the country on the “Mutate Don’t Stagnate” Tour.

The 2026 tour continues DEVO’s celebration of a career that helped reshape alternative music. Formed in the 1970s, the band became one of the defining acts of the new-wave era, combining angular guitars, electronic sounds, quirky visual presentation and an intentionally strange sense of humor. Their signature yellow jumpsuits and red Energy Dome hats became almost as recognizable as the music itself.

DEVO photo

Fans attending the current shows can expect a career-spanning set of featuring DEVO classics including “Whip It,” “Girl U Want,” “Uncontrollable Urge,” “Freedom of Choice,” “Gates of Steel,” “Jocko Homo” and “Beautiful World.” The band’s 2026 performances have also incorporated deeper cuts, giving longtime fans plenty beyond the obvious hits.

The Miami Beach show on August 28th is the big South Florida stop, giving fans a chance to see one of the most influential and downright strange bands of the new-wave era in an intimate theater setting. DEVO’s music has always been difficult to categorize, which is probably appropriate for a band whose entire philosophy revolves around questioning whether civilization is actually moving forward.

For longtime DEVO fans, the current tour is a chance to revisit the songs that made the band legendary. For younger audiences discovering them for the first time, it is a reminder that some of the weirdest music from 40-plus years ago can still sound remarkably fresh. Apparently, de-evolution has its perks.

Brooks & Dunn @ Hard Rock Live in Hollywood

Once artists like Brooks & Dunn hit the Country Music Hall of Fame, folks don’t expect much in the way of new ideas. But, 30+ years into their career, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn long ago dialed in their generation-defining sound and style. The best-selling duo of all time, their yin-and-yang country-rock blend has earned them 20 No. 1, 31 ACM Awards and last November, they won the CMA’s “Vocal Duo of the Year” again, making them the most awarded artists in CMA history.

brooks dunn photo

They hold the record of the longest-running country music residency in Las Vegas and recently announced that they will extend their “don’t miss” (Whiskey Riff) “NEON MOON TOUR” into 2026.

Out now via Sony Music Nashville, their newest album “REBOOT II” is the sequel to their acclaimed 2019 album “REBOOT” and follows the same format of giving today’s most engaging artists in and out of country music the near-impossible task of reimagining an iconic Brooks & Dunn song; except this time, the artists were given maximum creative freedom.

With styles ranging from progressive country and classic bluegrass to heavy metal, orchestral pop and beyond, the very fabric of songs most country fans know by heart was transformed. Whether it was ’90s grunge, ’70s style studio rock, or swampy soul, the duo encouraged each artist to throw out the playbook. “REBOOT II’s” 18 tracks include reinterpreted hits such as “Neon Moon,” “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and “Believe,” resulting in a dynamic and eclectic collection that spans genres and generations.

Dirty Heads & 311: So Glad You Made it Tour @ The iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach

Two of the biggest names in the alternative reggae-rock world are teaming up this summer for one seriously laid-back road trip. 311 and Dirty Heads are joining forces for the “So Glad You Made It” Tour, a 2026 North American co-headlining run that combines rock, reggae, hip-hop and funk into one giant outdoor concert party. Because apparently humans still require several thousand people, amplifiers and questionable amounts of sunscreen to enjoy a summer evening.

dirtyheads 311 photo

For fans of 311, this is a chance to hear decades of material from a band that has managed to carve out its own strange little corner of rock history. The group’s live set includes favorites such as “Down,” “Amber,” “All Mixed Up,” “Beautiful Disaster,” “Come Original,” “Transistor,” “Feels So Good” and “Applied Science.”

Dirty Heads bring their own blend of reggae, hip-hop, rock and alternative music to the party. Their current set has featured songs including “Lay Me Down,” “Vacation,” “Oxygen,” “My Sweet Summer,” “Rescue Me,” “That’s All I Need” and newer material such as “Seven Seas.”

The combination makes plenty of sense. Both bands have built careers around infectious grooves, massive sing-along choruses and music that works particularly well when the weather is hot, the drinks are cold and nobody is interested in taking life too seriously for a few hours.
